Jarrod's redemption
Did anyone else not buy his redemption at the end? It seemed tacked on and forced.

Re: Jarrod's redemption
It was wierd how it was never clear how much Jarrod went a long with Dai Shi willingly. Sometimes they acted like he was the real Dai Shi and other times a human acolyte.

Re: Jarrod's redemption
Yeah it did bug me that they weren't consistent on how much Dai Shi was in control.
I would have liked it if it was just Jarrod working for Dai Shi of his own accord, and Dai Shi was some kind of ghost dragon like a cross between Shen Mu from Jackie Chan Adventures, and an evil version of Zordon. |

Re: Jarrod's redemption
That would have been better. And if he was redeemed it would have meant more.

Re: Jarrod's redemption
It was always weird how the Skylords treated Dai Shi like a student that had to learn. Also why did the Phantom Beats want him to be their king if they fought him in a war in ancient times?

Re: Jarrod's redemption
It made me want to see Jungle Fury go longer, just to see Jarrod become the Sixth Ranger. Since he kind of was in the end.

Re: Jarrod's redemption
They never made it clear how Dai Shi got that armored form. It almost seemed like morph but he had no morpher. Was he connected to the Morphing Grid somehow? Also how could Jarrod use it again on his own?

Re: Jarrod's redemption
I recon Dai Shi channeled Jarrod's animal spirit and the morphing grid to create that armored form. Jarrod was still able to do this when he was from from Dai Shi's control.

Re: Jarrod's redemption
It was pretty odd how they acted like Jarrod was Dai Shi when we knew he was possessed. But even then, his soldiers acted like he was Jarrod with Dai Shi's powers. At the end they did make it more obvious Dai Shi took Jarrod over. It probably wouldn't have been so possible if Jarrod didn't have so much anger in him. So perhaps thats why he was so guilty. Also I think the SkyLords viewed his humanity as a weakness. So thats why they didn't treat him like the real Dai Shi. The Dark Sky Lord took this to an extreme as he hated humans.

Re: Jarrod's redemption
It seems clear his love for Camille helped weaken Dai Shi's hold over the would be Lion Ranger.
