Sailor Moon S
Sailor Moon S is my favorite season of Sailor Moon. I love hownit was darker and more mature. The outer senshi were awesome. Uranus is my favorite. The journey the outers take throughout the season is amazing. The concept of sacrifice to save the world versus compassion is a strong theme.
Only thing I don't like is that they make it look like Usagi saved the day. When really Saturn saved the world. Uranus and Neptune are.the real heroes of the season though. They dedicate everything to save the world. Despite their hard choices they are willing to sacrifice themselves when they find out they hold the Talismans. Sailor Pluto does the same when she stops time knowing she will be punished. I think Uranus should have become the leader of the Saior Soldiers. Usagi clearly wasn't fit tonl be leader. I think Saturn was the true Messiah anyway. Not Sailor Moon. |

I didn't like the outers. They were arrogant. Serena was the true Princess. Who were they to question her? S was just too long and boring. Of course it didn't help that it wasnt dubbed by DIC

Re: Sailor Moon S
The outers were pretty bad ass. They were even more powerful than most of the inners. Of course Sailor Moon she had the true power in the end. I think the outers just didn't realize how powerful she really was. But you have to give them a break since they felt the weight of the world on their shoulders. They had to choose between sacrificing three innocent people for the Talisman's or face world extinction.

Re: Sailor Moon S
Saturn never would have saved the world if Usagi didn't believe so much in Hotaru. If the Outers killed Hotaru , the world may not have been saved.

Re: Sailor Moon S
Yeah but if Usagi didn't waste so much time trying to save Hotaru...She wouldn't have lost the Holy Grail. Which she could have used to become Super Sailor Moon and kill Pharaoh 90. Uranus and Neptune would have found a way to anyway.

Re: Sailor Moon S
Not really, Saturn said that only Super Sailor Moon could have survived enough to help her when she went into the Pharaoh. Its far from a lock that Super Sailor Moon would have been able to kill the Pharaoh on her own. She needed Saturn. Uranus and Neptune wouldnt have been able to help like Saturn.

Re: Sailor Moon S
Bottom line is that Hotaru was needed to save the world. Usagi was right the whole time. Even Uranus and Neptune realized this at the time.

Re: Sailor Moon S
I always liked the Starlights better. They sometimes get overlooked because they were in the last season. One that was never imported to the US. Well until the Viz subs show up on Hulu.
