Jen was not a good character

I've heard people praise her as this great Ranger and character. And I just some it

She is an awful and annoying character. She starts promising in the first episode but after that devolves quickly. She spends so much time wanting revenge for Alex that she jeopardizes the mission. As annoying as Wes waa, she jeopardized a valuable asset because Wes looks like he boyfriend. The asset being the Red Morpher that Wes could only use. She was a terrible leader who constantly blamed Wes and everyone else for hee failures.

Then she allows herself to fall for Wes' charms and forgets about Alex. Whats worse is she ends up getting distracted by the mission again. Just to full around with Wes in the past. Alex calls her out on this and backs off for some strange reason.

Jen was incompetent and couldn't defeat Ransik or Frax. She nearly allowed history to be rewritten. And was more worries about saving Wes in the final battle than what was best for the future. And then we are supposes to feel sorry for her in the end? She was also a jerk to Alex, whose only crime was "dying" and trying to do his job.

The team up in Wild Force tries to rewrite her as some bad ass. But it falls on its face with this concept . And once again it ends up an excuse for her to pine for Wes. Who wasn't even that much of a catch. Why choose him over Alex anyway?
