just because the filming has ended doesn't mean they haven't already shot it if they decided to do it since they could be keeping it a secret... we were spoiled with Megaforce last year with all of the information that was coming out but that was under the control of a different Executive Producer.

Yes it wouldn't be cost effective but being cost effective for teamups isn't really the point... how many teamups in the past actually took footage from their Japanese crossover movie? Not many just Alien Rangers/Zeo, Galaxy/Lightspeed and Clash of the Red Rangers.

The 2 teamups in Space had to be originally shot because those teamups didn't exist in Sentai.

The Space/Galaxy teamup was all original footage except for the Astro Megazord combination stock sequence, Astro Megazord cockpit and the Galaxy Megazord cockpits.

Reinforcements From The Future was all original footage except for the usual Trans-Warp Megazord catapult stock sequence.

Forever Red was all original except for flashbacks.

Ninja Storm/Dino Thunder teamup was all original.
"History" wasn't all original but most of it was since they did have the Dragoul fight that was going on which was mostly Sentai footage.

"Wormhole" wasn't all original but a lot of it was since there was some Sentai scenes in the Jack vs Orangehead battle but a lot of those had to be reshot and there was/were the Green Ranger vs. Bluehead and Orangehead battle(s) that was/were Sentai.

Right but if production is done they are not likely to restart production again. I think that is what Scorpion is saying.

Maybe they could do a special due to fan demand if Dino Charge and Supercharge do well. I don't see why they couldn't get the DT Rangers since some of them are originally from New Zealand plus they could probably get JDF maybe even Austin St. John.

it's still possible since it was done with Samurai even with filming done they could start it back up again if they were given an order for a teamup that for some reason they decided to not shoot... filming has ended production has not ended.

Exactly but whether JDF and Austin would even work together again who really knows. The only DT actors that might be complicated to get are Kevin (Ethan) and Emma since Kevin is from Canada and Emma has been working in the states.

We know there's no chance of Walter (Zack) ever returning so either Johnny (Adam) would need to come back or he'll need to be suit-only.

It would be cool to see the MMPR Rangers back again. Maybe Carla Perez could come back to play Mystic Mother/Rita.

You do realise that due to the skipped season, the footage is problematic? The Go-Busters appear - they can be explained as a New Power, but there's nothing for Orion to use. And one of the Buster Machines (Tategami Lioh) is involved in the giant battle. How would you explain that (plus, Dino Megazord and Thundersaurus Megazord were both destroyed)? If they can't at least get the two previous dino red ranger actors back, there's no point bothering adapting that movie. Getting three casts to return even just in the ADR booth? Not likely. Even Sentai fell short, not getting AbareYellow's actor back.

They rarely use Sentai footage for team-ups.

If they did, the Sentai footage could work:
-The Go-Busters don't appear in most of the Dino battle footage, so they'd be easy to cut around
-Destroyed Ranger powers never get an explanation for their return, so destroyed Zords don't need one either. But they can simply say the combined dino energies resurrected the Zords.
-Tategami Lioh could be a special shield Zord created just for this battle.
-While it would be great to get all the past Dino Rangers back, they only need the two reds. They can re-use voice clips for the others. In fact, really they only need to bring back one Ranger from each team (it doesn't have to be red). Granted it's a bit dumb having back just one Ranger, but it would be worth it to see that awesome footage in PR (and, of course, to get some past Rangers back, especially as Lynn will handle them better than Megaforce).
