How did Kunzite discover Sailor V's identity?

I just watched act 8 again, and was wondering how the DK discovered Minako's identity

Well, it seems like they knew each other. But that is probably the manga storyline. He seemingly was able to find her with his telepathy. I would suspect she already fought Kunzite as Sailor V as well.
