Which PR series would you have liked to have seen get a movie? - Page 2

Lets see how the MMPR movie does first. You don't want to overload the movie franchise right away. It could oversaturate it. Marvel can produce all kinds of movies because their film universe has been well established. Not to mention they have tons of different properties that they can use on their own in the same universe. Thats not to say that a successful MMPR franchise couldn't lead to a shared universe type of thing. It just is gonna take time and for the MMPR franchise to be ultra successful.

I'm with you if I were an executive at Lionsgate I would see how much profits MMPR movie makes before announcing cinematic universe plans.

I'm not saying make it like MCU and pump out films every year or so, wasn't what I meant. I meant the franchise as a whole deserves love, regardless if a season is looked down on or extremely liked. Yes, MMPR is 'the first' and 'most recognizeable' But do you feel if it wasn't the original, they would be making a movie? For example, let's say Turbo was first. Do you feel they would make a big blockbuster style film off of it?

Probably, assuming Turbo would do as well as MMPR. MMPR is the G1 Transformers of Power Rangers. It is what people know the most. Thats why they are starting with that. I like plenty of the other seasons as well though. If they make it far enough, it would be cool to see those adapted as well.

Does PR catch on with another series as the first season? Having a dinosuar theme was a big part of the success of year one.

Humm...I think MMPR came at.the perfect time. The Miss Match of Sentai , cool teens, dinosuars, ect... really worked. Its hard to imagine how successful PR would have been with another season being the starting point. But who knows for sure?

Its the Sentai that matters. They could have started with any season and it would have been a success..PR is just another name for an edported Sentai.
