Default No more Digimon after Savers?

Jump Festa 2005 announced a new Digimon anime that turned out to be Digimon Savers, and boy, was it good. But Jump Festa 2006 made no mention of a follow-up season, though there were at least rumblings that Digimon was here to stay. But according to MOONPHASE, a website dealing in Japanese cartoons, there are rumors going around that when Savers wraps at 50 or so episodes, another anime is taking the timeslot.

I'm hoping for the best here, but it's not looking too bright for a sixth season of Digimon at the moment. :rays to Lunamon and Coronamon for a miracle::

Digimon Fusion is based on the sixth Digimon series while Data Squad was based on Savers.
