What if Power Rangers started in the 70s?

Just a dumb, little "what if" I thought of at work (yay for productivity). Assuming Power Rangers started with Himitsu Sentai Gorenger...

1. What US company would it brought it over?
2. What channel would have aired it?
3. What cast would you have liked to see?
4. Do you think it would have been popular? Which leads me to the next question... do you think it would still be going til today?

Either Marvel or Saban. It would have aired on a network Saturday morning block for a year or two and get cancelled.

I think it's good to compare them. But at the end of the day they are two different franchises.
