I didn't get to watch much of RPM. I was busy on most saturday mornings that year. I saw the first episode and it just didn't feel like Power Rangers. More like a bad Mad Max adaption.

because Disney was against Rangers becoming evil for any length of time hence Trent becoming good so early and therefore the need for Zeltrax to create an evil clone of the powers.

Just because Eddie wanted it to happen doesn't mean a thing since it would still have to be approved by the higher ups.
