Power Rangers In Space The Movie?

With all the studios wanting their own universes movies like Marvel has done....Do you think Saban Brands would do a Space Movie to go a long with the MMPR Movie?

Space is different enough that it could stand on its own. Since it takes place in outerspace it would fit into the movie PRU. The space elements could make it acessible to the mainstream who really only remembee MMPR. With the success of Gaurdians of the Galaxy, a lot of studios are looking to duplicate it. I could see a Space PR Movie being of the same genre.

Of course the backstory would. a bit different for TJ, Carlos, Cassie, and Ashley. The obvious answer is to make them aliens like Andros. But you could easily have the two be from Earth and suddenly mixed up in an intergalactic conflict. Perhaps they would be aducted from Earth with Andros rescuing them. With them ending up becoming Rangers. The movie could basically write itself.

I think there's a chance that every team could have a movie adaptation but that all depends on next year's MMPR Movie and how well it does.

Nah only MMPR Movies will work. I just hope its true to MMPR and not P/R.

no that's not true that's just your love affair with the series all series could work you just need to get your mind out of your love affair with all things MMPR since it is not all that and neither are you with you annoyingly bringing up your love for the series and constantly bashing everything else.

I know I used a lot of plot points from the show. But I was pretty vague overall. So a lot of things could be done differently.

A battle between Spector and both Ranger teams would be epic! I don't mind using ideas from the show. As long as there is enough originiality.

As long as the new Tommy is more like season 1 Tommy and not a tool like season 2 Tommy.

MMPR could end up being a two parter. Think of it: After they defeat Rita at the end of the first or beginning of the second, Zedd shows up and drains the powers of Tommy, Jason, Zack and Trini, signifying the arrival of Adam, Rocky, and Aisha to take on the powers, as well as the White Ranger. Thoughts?

nah I don't want it ripped exactly from the show plus we really have no clue what to expect with this movie either.

MMPR Movie one

MMPR team get their Powers and battle Rita.

MMPR Movie two

The Rangers battle the Green Ranger. Tommy is freed and joins team. Lord Zedd emerges.

Space Movie One

Four teens are abducted by aliens and.taking to deep space. Andros saves them and they end up buying coming Space Rangers to battle Astronema, who works for Dark Spector.

MMPR Movie 3

Big showdown with the forces of Lord Zedd.

Space Movie 2

The Rangers battle the Phsyco Rangers. We find out Karone is Andros lost sister. Dark Spector unites the UAE for an attack on the Earth.

MMPR The Movie 4

Space, MMPR team up. As they battle Dark Spector and the UAE.... To save Earth and the universe.

End of Phase 1
