Cruger was Tommy's protege
I think Cruger was Tommy's protege. He really fights like him. It would make sense for Tommy to pass the torch to someone and Cruger is the best canidate. He really feels like the Tommy of his generation.

We don't know Cruger's exact age or the lifespan of the people of Serius. Zordon and Rita both lived to be 10,000 years. So by the time Tommy was in control of Hexagon Cruger could have been considered young for his specious.

Most likely. Since SPD was the continuation of Hexagon....It makes perfect sense for Cruger to be one of its operatives and be mentored by Tommy himself.

After Tommy lost the Hexagon War....He led the remnants of Hexagon to Sirius. Where they started SPD. He returned to Earth briefly to help out during "Legendary Battle".

I don't think Cruger was part of Hexagon or a protege to Tommy at all. The Hexagon influence of SPD was Bridie's faction. Cruger was more of an outsider.

I don't think Cruger knew Tommy personally. He just read about him in the archives and looked up to him as a historical figure. Tommy probably had a big role in bringing SPD to Earth.
