Does Netflix make DVDs not as important?

Now that every season of PR is on Netflix, does it make having PR DVDs less of an important issue? I mean in the digital age a lot of things are available through streaming. Without the trouble of having to buy and take care of DVDs. With every season of PR on Netflix is arguably better then having DVDs.

I'm actually still in favor of them producing boxed sets ( makes too much business sense not to and still will be attractive to collectors. But I felt this was an interesting discussion.
