I like both characters. But I have to give the nod to Jason. Sorry, Shane can't match his legendary status in the eyes of the fandom.

I think Jason is way better. I wish he was on the show a lot longer. I'm glad he came bacm for Zeo and the Turbo Movie.

They are both bland to me. Tommy was the better leader in MMPR and Shane really didn't feel like a leader in his season.

I think both are bland and pretty hard to care about either way. Jason is only memorable for being the first Red Ranger.
