Its. likely that Ecliptor never would have loved the real Karone. I think he had more control of his mind then Cyber Astronema. He did whatever he could to get Karone turned back into Astronema and back into Specter's good graces. He only helped her escape because he thought it was the only way to protect her from. Specter's Wrath. Once he learned of Specter's plans for her, he was more than happy to have her emotions reprogrammed.

He would have tried to do so again if he wasn't vaporized. Zordon knew he would never be one if the good guys. But saw a way that Zedd, Rita, and Divatox would.

Its likely they were all abucted like Karone or brainwashed/corrupted as adults.

Divatox we know was stolen, Rita seems likely. Zedd really feels different. His backstory is much more mysterious yet must have been pretty interesting.

Might it not be that the Z-wave changed the universe (or at least the part of the universe it has hit) so that everyone was as if evil had never existed. This would change Rita and Zedd and such to human-like beings. This would eliminate things like the Machine Empire and Ecliptor, because they most likely were built and programmed by evil beings and would not have existed if evil hadn't.

Ecliptor did say he was buit to be evil. So he was almost like an organic robot..Before becoming a Cyborg.
