Rest In Peace Jason David Frank
https://ew.com/tv/jason-david-frank-...power-rangers/
As most already know we sadly lost Jason David Frank back in Nov. It continues to be a very sad story. Its really sad that he couldn't get help for whatever caused him to end his life. Frank was an icon to Ranger fans and a force in pop culture. As a matter of fact many young stars would meet up with him at conventions... Just to meet the actor who most of them watched as children themselves. But most importantly Frank was a husband and father. I am so sorry his family had to go through all this. Jason David Frank is best known for his role as Tommy Oliver during MMPR season 1, where he played the evil Green Ranger. After turning good, Tommy became a breakout character on the show . And really is the most recognizable character on the show. The character wouldn't be the same without Frank's protrayal of him. This made the actor one of the brands key ambassadors over the years. Jason would stay on the show for close to six seasons before leaving. He would return for numberous guest star appearances to celebrate the show's milestone episodes. Frank even returned as a regular in 2004. Power Rangers DinoThunder saw his Tommy Oliver character return to mentor a new generation of Rangers. Recently filmed scenes a Power Rangers inspired film called Legend Of the White Dragon. Frank was a avid martial artists all his life and was a black belt. He owned the Rising Sun Karate School Chain. He even did some amature and low level MMA fighting well into his forties. Jason David Frank left us at the far too young age of 49. May he rest in peace and best wishes to his family. |

Re: Rest In Peace Jason David Frank
It's sad that he has died. I was hoping for him to play Lord Drakken in a live action Power Rangers film.
