Actually owning a company like Hasbro does have its advantages. Since they could buy a successful toy company. Disney could fold it into its own or keep separate. Plus you own all there ips. Transformers is hige and they wouldn't have to worry about Toei. The movie franchise would also be attractive. And lets not forget about GI Joe.
I don't think this would be good for the american consumer or market consolidation. As Disney is already too big. And it probably won't happen. But you never know for sure these days. I don't think they would buy Hasbro to get PR back, if Hasbro ever buys PR to begin with.
