I came across a message from a fan who attended the Anime Festival last year which was in Orlando, Florida. This person met with Wendee Lee, the one that provided the voice of Scorpina and Wendee told this fan an interesting idea.

I found the link by googling Sabrina Lu, the actress that played the in-suit Scorpina in Season 2's "Goldar's Vice Versa."

Apparently Wendee told the fan that the studio wanted more Scorpina and after her Zyuranger footage ran out, they tried tracking down Ami (the Zyuranger actress) but they weren't able to so eventually they had to handle with a replacement and that would be Sabrina Lu.

I don't know how truthful this is but it is an interesting story and I thought I would share it. I would assume it's truthful since it's something Wendee apparently stated.

It's a pity that we didn't see Scorpina after 'Goldar's Vice Versa'. I guess Saban couldn't get the actress who played her in that episode to appear in more episodes. :(

Yea I guess Saban wasn't able to get Sabrina back for whatever reason. It's such a disappointment but maybe they weren't happy with their selection as well or something. After all there was no explanation for why Sabrina looks so different to Ami.

Maybe she used that beauty cream Rita used to go from Machiko Soga to Carla Perez.

How would she know about that cream though? Rita wasn't around and Finster hadn't made it until after Rita came back.

Huh never thought about that.

Never mind then.

Not to mention it was kind of strange Scorpina would even be around. Why would she even agree to help out Zedd? She was part of Rita's crew and they were friends.

I mean Scorpina left after Zedd's arrival. Yes it was because of footage reasons but there has to be a reason why Scorpina as a character left after his arrival.
