Is Rita trying to corrupt Trini ?
 

In some of the trailers it really seems like Rita is trying to corrupt Trini. She mentions how she was good like her once. And if she really wanted to kill her she would right then and there.

Thats a good theory. Since there has to be a reason she target Trini specifically..And Trini seems the most vulnerable from what we know about her.

Thats not far fetched to think. It will be interesting to see that scene in the context of the whole movie.

I think she is just trying to scare her, since she thinks she is the weak link in battle.

I think. so. It will probably tie into however Rita was corrupted. Its a good arch for he Trini character. Who sometimes got short changed in the original, when it came to screen time.

I don think so..She is trying to bully Trini. Trini has probably been bullied all her life. Thats why she is so sarcastic. She will have to overcome this in the new movie.

I don't think she would bother. I am surprised that Rita wouldn't just kill her right then and there.

I just hope its not one of those cut scenes that they only show in the previews. Because it looks very interesting.

She feels too different from the real Trini. I hope they do cut the scene. It's way too dark for Power Rangers.
