Why later in mighty morphin power rangers goldar face and voice change ?? I missed his original face and voice thx shamir

I've attached 2 images of Goldar they're not the best shots of him but this was just to illustrate a point.

The first picture (Goldar - US footage.jpg) is his Zyuranger suit and his face wasn't made for talking since it was something that his Zyuranger counterpart really didn't do much of.

The second picture (Goldar with the Crystal) is the first instance of the new Goldar design this was done because Saban's production crew had no choice in the matter. Toei's costume creators didn't originally do a good job with creating their villain suits so sadly they deteriorated a lot quicker back then than they do now so because of which Saban's crew just made a new Goldar suit and as of the 2nd season since Goldar's Sentai footage was limited they just opted to continue on with the new suit and head as the new go-to suit BUT we first saw this new design in "Crystal of Nightmares" since aside from flashbacks and stock footage most Goldar scenes had him in new footage in Season 2 whereas he had very limited original footage in Season 1 in fact after "Crystal of Nightmares" I think the rest of his Season 1 appearances were either stock Japanese shots or stock original footage shots.

you're welcome a similar thing happened with Rito and Master Vile as well their suits kept on deteriorating so they tried doing what they could do to fix them but eventually they got too bad to the point they couldn't do anything for them anymore now they could have made new suits for them like they did with Goldar but I guess they just didn't want to.

oh yeah I forgot to mention about his voice but it didn't change it remained mostly the same as it was during the later portion of the 1st season.
The guy doing his voice was always the same guy it's just it ended up changing during the 1st season since he was experimenting with the voice so that it would be easier on his throat.

you'd be surprise if you knew other roles actors did not to mention other roles he did as well remember Ryan Steele's dog from VR Troopers? yup he did his voice too.

Let's use the main voices from MMPR shall we?

Barbara Goodson (Rita) = Sprocket and Orbus.

Wendee Lee (Scorpina) = voice of the young T.K. from Digimon. She was also Alpha 6 in "Space" and Galaxy.

Robert Axelrod (Finster, Zedd, Lokar) = Wizardmon in the first 2 seasons of Digimon. Armadillomon and Ankylomon in 2nd season. He shares the 2nd season voice of Shakkoumon.

Michael Sorich (Squatt) = Terror Toad and Pumpkin Rapper and he actually had an on-screen role as the Auctioneer in Galaxy and also had the on-screen role of Woody in VR Troopers.

Dave Mallow (Baboo) = He was the "Today on Power Rangers" voice for at least MMPR he also apparently did Pudgy Pig and Lizzinator.

indeed they're very unappreciative by some fans even though they're amazing at what they do granted some people *points to some fans* may complain that some actors can't change their voices for their roles.

I liked Goldar's change, in voice and costume.

Ok the character became goofy in season 3 and Zeo, so maybe mid-to-late season 1 and season 2 is peak Goldar for me.

The Zyuranger costumes mouth movement was pretty bad, i now know that's because he didn't talk much (having watched it for the first time a few months back) and the costumes weren't the best quality overall.

no he wasn't since his Zyuranger suit was basically history during the first season but they made a new suit with a new head for "Crystal of Nightmares" which they continued using until his final appearance in Countdown to Destruction BUT that is indeed why Rito and presumably Master Vile had vanished.

can't really control the suit dying there's only so much you can do until the Sentai suits are pretty much dead.

Not to mention it would look awfully out of place in a big budget movie.

not only that but using the same appearance in an alternate story wouldn't make any sense. Goldar in the show was supposed to be a regular evil space alien but in the movie he was supposed to be a huge colossal weapon that was made of gold that being said how he looked in the movie he didn't look like gold he looked more like melted cheese.

They definitely needed a different design than the show but they could have done a much better job than the new one. The movie version looked cheap.

I think they made him too different ans felt like an adaption of a different character.
