Original Thoughts on the White Ranger
 

Most of us know that the White Ranger was "different" from the other rangers because he was from a different Sentai team. But as a kid when many of us did not know about Sentai. So, for those of you who did not know about Sentai or the origins of Power Rangers, what did you think about the White Ranger being different?

I reasoned as follows:

Not all the rangers were based on Dinosaurs (Mastodon and Saber Tooth Tiger) they were based on EXTINCT animals. The White Ranger (being the newest) was based on the most recent animal to go extinct. This was around the same time that I started hearing reports on how the the white tigers were highly endangered and some species were even extinct.

What did everyone think when they saw this new "different" ranger?
