Once A Rangers Staying
 

I think OO would have been better of the Once A Rangers took over for the Overdrive team the rest of the season. It would have saved what was a pretty mediocre season.

It also kind of would have been wierd from a story perspective. And really they would have had no reason to do it since OO wouldn't have aired yet.

I can see where the idea of them staying ( or the whlle season being about them) would be interesting.

Its ridiculous that they didn't do the whole season with the returning Rangers. I would have had Disney clean house and hire new writers.

no doubt no matter which way you did it... it just wouldn't be right or in Disney's vision.

1. Retro team remaining with their powers - wouldn't be happening since all battles and stock shots would have to be re-shot including cockpit scenes

2. Retro team replacing the Overdrive team and just taking on their powers. Again not practical since the team wouldn't really fit with the Overdrive stock footage.

Just give the OAR Team the OO Powers and it would work footage wise.

The idea of bringing the older Rangers back and keeping them for the whole season was not feasible. Nor was changing casts midseason. Thats not how they do things or did things in this case. The real problem with OO is that they made the characters unlikeable to the point that the older Rangers clearly overshadowed them. Despite the fact the writers tried to overshadow the Retro Rangers.
