Could Power Rangers work like Smallville?
 

I was thinking how cool it would be if they ever did a Prime Time Power Rangers series that had a Smallville like feel. Not an exact copy. But the same type of show. With young teens having to go through their adolescence while dealing with being Power Rangers.

Maybe about five young teens and then not getting their powers right away. Slowly introduce the Ranger stuff. I wouldn't go as.far as a no spandex rule.

They shouldn't. Power Rangers is its own show and should not try to be like something else. The two are tottally different shows.

Rita's dumpster.crashes into.Angel Grove..The evil energy creates monsters. Five teens find five coins that help them battle the monsters. The main villain would be an evil industialist that was exposed to dumpster energy. Eventually they would find Zordon and become Power Rangers.

They could do it similar to Heroes? One by one the Rangers come together to fight a great evil.

That would work too. It would be cool to see. It would be a nice storyline for such a show.
