Kamen Rider Den-O Adaptation Question
 

In a few years (about 10), I'm planning on doing an Adaption of Kamen Rider Den-O as it's so popular in Japan, I'd like to bring the popularity to America...The only question: What should I do?

1. Dub the original footage,
2. Dub some of the footage & have original footage for the fight scenes, or
3. Both

I would like to see an English dubbed Kamen Rider series come to America. I won't mind if that series is Kamen Rider Den-O.:cool:

What makes you think a dubbed Kamen Rider Den-O would be received any better than the subbed epsiodes on You Tube? I'd say a dub, because it doesn't really matter whom the actors/actresses look like, so long as they give strong voice performances. But I'm curious as to how you're planning to market the show? And what if ten years from now entertainment changes and Den-O is outdated? Maybe throw in some updated fight footage if you think you have the means. Either way it sounds good to me.

I don' know if an untouched dubbed Kamen Rider series would have been accepted by American viewers at all. It would have be a very good dub. As for marketing it, there are better guys at that job than me. It might help if Syfy or another channel decided to give a untouched dubbed Kamen Rider series a try. We'll never know until a brave American company decided to give it a try.

Explanation for series
 

Well, I'm right now planning on doing the American way: I'm going to show the series with (mostly) American footage, with some Japanese mixed footage...as well as add in, for the season finale, two episodes of Kamen Rider Decade (episodes 15 & 16 specifically). & even better, I'm working on season 2 which will be based off of Kamen Rider Double.

It sounds like an ambitious undertaking (I'm assuming you aren't attached to any studio). I'm extremely interested in knowing more about the production. Perhaps when you begin production you could start a new thread showcasing your progress. That would be awesome.

I don't even have a job yet (unless I'm thinking as the main character of the Season 2 Spirit Tamers)! But I do plan on working with Adness Entertainment, as they have the rights (right now) to the Americanized Kamen Rider series
