Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
Greg Wiesman was the creative force behind Gargoyles. Which had its run early in Power Ranger's history. He did an interview where he talks about how Power Rangers and OJ Simpson contributed to the cancellation of Gargoyles.

Well it didn't really end them. It just made it tougher for them to survive.

Re: Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
Gargoyles was an awesome show. It at least got to finish more or its storylines. The Goliath Chronicles weren't as good. But they were extra.

Re: Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
I likes it towards the end when Goliath 's daughter showed up.

Re: Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
I don't see Power Rangers really effecting Gargoyles all that much. Being number 2 shouldn't have got them canceled.

Re: Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
Yeah I think it succeeded or failed on its own merits.

Re: Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
Yeah doesn't really connect for me as a reason why Gargoyles was cancelled.

Re: Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
I think Gargoyles just lasted as long as it was viable... Power Rangers or no Power Rangers.

Re: Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
I think Power Rangers and the OJ Simpson trial could have been factors to Gargoyle's cancellation. But they are not the main ones.

Re: Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
This sounds like a reach to me.

Re: Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
I could see those factors contributing. But its hard to definitely say those factors were the chief reason the series ended. Especially since television shows {and kids shows in particularly} often have a short shelf life.
