Amit did do a very good job with " Forever Red" and "Reinforcements" though. All his ideas weren't bad. He just needed an editor when came to managing the big picture.

Whether Amit is involved or not, I would do a Hexagon angle. Jason and Tommy leading their squads against each other. Tommy would be pro Hexagon and Jason Anti-Hexagon.

Considering Specter is a shapeshifter, its not impossible that his main form in Space isn't his true form.

well let's see how the cast films things shall we?

we're currently watching Ninja Steel they would've started filming in Fall of last year and ended in December, they would've went back in January of this year and ended filming in May. ADR work wouldn't be done since they do that closer to the episode's airing so cast members would record their ADR wherever they're at so the ones who live in California would do ADR there but the ones who reside in New Zealand would record their ADR there.

Megaforce was airing in 2013 so their cast would've started filming in late 2012, they would've been allowed to go back home sometime in December to spend those holidays with their families before they had to go back to New Zealand in January 2014 and filming would've ended in May 2014 so let's see shall we?

He was arrested in 2015 so apparently not.

a Hexagon war wouldn't be cool but yes they could use one of Toei's other Sentai costumes for him or perhaps you could do a Queen Bansheera with it and say the spell/ceremony was ruined which drastically altered his form.
I actually thought the Black King Colossus from Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle could've been a good new Dark Specter costume.

How about Los Dark as some heretofore unheard of disciple of Dark Spector who wants to resurrect Dark Spector who comes back as Black Cross Colossus.
