I did think it was an odd choice to not just make it another mode for the Lightspeed Megazord.

Its a different zord that has a similar design.

It was a replica of rhe original megazord and designed as a suicide misson zord. Which thankfully never had to be used.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hexagon rebuilt the zord for its own use.

I made no sense that they made the megazord in the first place, let alone build it all over again.
