Power Rangers: Lion Force Episode 8 "Transfer Of Pink" By DinoBot Setting: Leo's Quarters Leo, Damon, and Kai are seated around the breakfast bar while Kendrix is laid on the couch. Her stomach bulging beneath her GSA uniform. Leo: Is it me or is this pregnancy happening quicker than normal? Kendrix: It could be because of the Lion Force powers. They could be accelerating the pregnancy. Drax: How right you are Miss Morgan... Drax teleports into Leo's quarters. He looks around at the Rangers, then at Kendrix. Drax: The Lion Force powers accelerate pregnancy, your child will remain unharmed Leo: How nice of you to care... Drax: I don't care, I just came to get Kendrix' Morphers Kendrix sits up and the Morphers appear on her wrists. She removes them and hands them to Leo, who walks up to Drax and hands him the Pink Lion Force Morphers. Drax: When I've found a suitable replacement, I'll let you know With that, he teleports out of Leo's Quarters. Damon: I don't like him Kendrix: Who does? Setting: Above Downtown Terra Venture Red Lion Ranger is flying high above the colony. He looks down at the people below him, going about their daily business. Suddenly, an energy beam slams into his feet. Immediately, the thrusters give out and he begins plummeting downwards. He crashes into the Comet Cafe, destroying it in a massive ball of flame. Nearby, the Pink Lion Force Morphers crash to the ground near the burning cafe. From out of the clouds, an eagle monster descends down and lands softly. ThunderWing is basically a humanoid eagle monster. ThunderWing: That was TO easy... ThunderWing gazes at the burning wreckage of the Comet Cafe and laughs. ThunderWing: I can't believe it was THAT easy to destroy the infamous Red Lion Ranger... Behind ThunderWing, the other four Lion Rangers land and face off against the monster. Blue Lion Ranger: Where's Drax? ThunderWing: Concern for your leader, how touching Yellow Lion Ranger: He's not our leader, now where is he? The four remaining Lion Rangers summon their Fire Saber's and aim them at the monster. Realising he was outgunned, ThunderWing decides to try to bargain with the Rangers. ThunderWing: Hmm, I'll make you a deal, let me go and I'll tell you ALL the hidden secrets about your leader... Suddenly, a fire tornado appeared and slammed into ThunderWing, singing his feathers. Three more appear and slam into him, knocking him away. In a burst of flame, FireStorm teleports in. FireStorm: You'll be revealing NOTHING today birdbrain The burning wreckage of the Comet Cafe erupts in a massive explosion as Red Lion Ranger rises up out of the wreckage. FireStorm: What took you so long? Red Lion Ranger: I was out of it, had to let... He fades off, not wanting to reveal anything to the other Rangers. Red Lion Ranger (To the other Rangers): I am injured, you deal with ThunderWing ThunderWing races towards the Pink Lion Force morphers, but a quick fireball from FireStorm sends the pink Morphers skidding into a darkened alley. Red Lion Ranger teleports away, as does FireStorm Blue Lion Ranger: Who does he think he is, ordering us around Yellow Lion Ranger: He does have a point, we do have a monster to stop... The Rangers summon their Fire Sabers and rush at ThunderWing. He flexes his wings and brings them around and aims the tips of them at the oncoming Rangers. The tips of the wings shoot out like missiles, which explode all around the Rangers, but they don't stop them. ThunderWing: STAND STILL The Rangers each take to the skies ands hover above ThunderWing. ThunderWing: Ohh you can fly, SO CAN I He flaps his wings and jets up towards them. Yellow Lion Ranger: Oh no you don't. FIRE The rangers unleash a devastating volley of fireballs on ThunderWing, knocking him back down. A few seconds later, the volley of fireballs cause ThunderWing to explode in a ball of energy and flame. Black Lion Ranger: Now that that's over, we need to find Drax... Blue Lion Ranger: That's like asking the Lightspeed Rangers to stay above water in their base. Setting: Starship bridge Drax is seated at the helm controls, with his uniform top and shirt off. FireStorm is tending to his injuries. FireStorm: You were lucky this time Drax: Luck had nothing to do with it, besides, the others will best ThunderWing without breaking a sweat... FireStorm rubs a clear gel on the cut on Drax' shoulder. Drax winces. FireStorm: Sissy Drax: Cinder breath The two friends smile. Their friendly banter is a sign of their friendship. FireStorm finishes applying the cream. Then he attached a bandage to the wound. FireStorm: There you go, the Heal-Gel should speed up the healing process Drax: Thanks old friend... FireStorm sits at another console, he bounces a fireball from knee to knee, like a soccer ball. Drax: Stop thinking that, I most certainly do not... FireStorm: Yes you do, I KNOW you do... Setting: Terra Venture Hospital Maya is sat up in bed, with doctors and nurses studying her. Nurse Hernandez: This is amazing, her injuries are COMPLETLY healed... Dr Hammond: It is impossible, but on this planet, anything is possible... As the nurses and doctors move away, Maya's wrists begin to glow with pink energy. Setting: Downtown Terra Venture A single feather floats lazily on the wind. As if it is caught in a thermal air vent, it rises up and begins to glow. The feather glows brightly as it reforms into ThunderWing. ThunderWing: That was most unpleasant... He feels something stuck in one of his wings, so he flexes them, hoping to dislodge what ever it is. He reaches behind him and feels along the edge of his left wing. His clawed hand brushes against something metal, something that should not be there. He grabs it and, with a scream, pulls it out. It is a jet-black gear. ThunderWing: So THAT'S why I acted like that... He throws the wing up above him and fires at it with his wing tip missiles, to no affect. Instead, the black gear shimmers brightly then fires an energy beam at ThunderWing. The winged monster barley gets out of the way in time. ThunderWing: That was close... He watches as the black gear descends downwards and hovers over a bird that is parched on a Venture Vehicle. The black gear shines a black light onto the bird, absorbing it. ThunderWing: That is so gross. The black light fades away as the gear begins to change shape. It sprouts a set of demonic bird like wings and begins to grow. It begins to take on the shape of a hideous bird monster, which resembles ThunderWing, but with an evil look about it. DarkWing: the master's will must be done, this place must be DESTROYED. DarkWing begins shooting his wingtip missiles at the colony, causing explosions and damage. ThunderWing: This is getting to hot for me, I'm outta here. With a burst of feathers, ThunderWing teleports away. A few seconds later, the Blue, Yellow and Black Lion Rangers arrive on the scene. DarkWing: All those that do not serve the master shall be destroyed... The Rangers activate their thrusters and take to the skies and attempts to shoot down DarkWing with the Fire Sabers, but it proves useless. The evil bird monster fires his wing-tip missiles at the Rangers. They explode all around them. Blue Lion Ranger: Ok, our turn... They fire their Fire Sabers at him, but they don't do any good as DarkWing brings his wings in front of him and uses them as a shield. The fireballs bounce off them and right back at the Rangers. ThunderWing: Your pathetic toys are no match for my power... He is cut off when three fireballs slam into him from behind. And from the street below, the Pink Lion Force Ranger rises up, Fire Saber in hand. Black Lion Ranger: The Pink Ranger, but how...? Pink Lion Ranger: I'll reveal all later, but for now, we have a monster to take down. They all surround DarkWing and aim their Fire Saber's at the bird monster. DarkWing: Destroy me if you can, but my master will... Pink Lion Ranger: Oh shut up.... They fire their Fire Sabers at DarkWing, the combined energy from the multiple fireballs slam into the dark gear created monster. His body glows with energy as he tries to absorb the energy. DarkWing (Screaming): AHHHHHH The energy build-up becomes too great and DarkWing explodes in a ball of energy that quickly dissipates. All that remains is the black gear, which crumbles into dust, which blows away on the wind. Pink Lion Ranger: Ok, how about I introduce myself... The Rangers fly to a rooftop and de-morph. The Pink Lion Ranger lands in front of them and de-morphs. Maya: Surprise... Kai: Maya, you're the Pink Ranger.... Maya: It's a surprise to me to. I was in hospital when my wrists began to glow with pink energy. I checked myself out of the hospital and came out here. I saw you fighting the monster and the rest they say, is history. Damon: Well, it sure is good to have you back on the team Setting: Outside Leo's Quarters The four remaining Lion Rangers walk down the corridor to Leo's quarters. Damon: Kendrix is at paternity classes in the hospital, so we can have a party before she gets back... Maya: Sounds like fun, but shouldn't we wait for her until we start partying... The door to Leo's quarters slide open and they step in. Sitting on the table, is a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Leo: Has someone got a secret lover? Kai walks up to the flowers and picks up the card, he looks at it, then picks the flowers up and hands them to Maya, along with the card. Kai: The card says these are for you... Maya takes the flowers and the card, she looks at the card and reads it out loud. Maya: To the Jungle Beauty... Maya sniffs the flowers and smiles, blushing slightly. Kai: Looks like someone is in love... Maya smiles, wondering who her mystery admirer could be. THE END.
