Power Rangers: Lion Force Episode 5 "Future Knowledge" By DinoBot Setting: Downtown Terra Venture Drax walks down the main street. A few people stare at him in his uniform. Drax (to himself): It's like they've never seen a guy in a uniform before. He continues down the main street and heads towards Terra Venture Hospital. He stops at the steps, hesitates for a second, then he walks in. Setting: Terra Venture Hospital Drax walks up to Maya's bed. The Yellow Galaxy Ranger still hasn't moved. Drax: I'll hate myself in the morning for doing this... He placed a hand on her forehead and brushed an errant strand of hair from her face. A smile crosses his face, but it soon disappears as he regains his composure. He reaches into his pocket and brings out his scanner device. He presses a few controls, passed it over her shoulder, then pocketed the scanner again. He takes a step back, then turns and leaves. Setting: Terra Venture Industrial Centre A cloud of noxious gas leaks from one of the fuel pipes and begins to take on the form of a monster. This monster looked like a giant humanoid snake, with glowing red eyes. Attached to parts of its body were clear tubes, with a purple liquid coursing through them. From its fangs dripped the same purple liquid that ran through the tubes. ToxoViper: Yes, this place has plenty, it will do... ToxoViper once again becomes a cloud of noxious gas which flows into the same pipe it came out of. Setting: Downtown Terra Venture Drax walks down the street, studying the device he used on Maya. He studies the display intently. Drax: Hmm, according to this, he will appear right about.... A scream cuts him off, he looks up and sees a cloud of noxious gas drifting up from one of the drains. Drax: Now, and right on time... He watches as the gas begins to take on the form of ToxoViper. Drax sneaks quietly away. ToxoViper: This place will be the first... Terrified citizens run in fear as ToxoViper releases the tubes from his body, which pierce the road. They start pumping the noxious gas into the ground. Within moments the gas rises up all over the city. People begin choking on it and passing out. Red Lion Ranger: You monsters are always SO predictable. You can probably set a watch by your predictability. ToxoViper: Red Lion Ranger, you will fall before me... He retracts the hoses from the road and whips them at Red Lion Ranger, who back flips out of their way. Red Lion Ranger: Missed me, missed me, now you gotta kiss me! Red Lion Ranger back flips away, and in mid flip, he activates the thrusters in his boots and flies towards ToxoViper. He grabs ToxoViper and carries the vile monster high above the city. Red Lion Ranger: Going down? He drops ToxoViper and watches as the snake monster plummets down. ToxoViper: (Unintelligible Roar) ToxoViper slams into the road, and explosions erupt all around him. Red Lion Ranger summons the Fire Sabre and aims it at where ToxoViper fell. Red Lion Ranger: This is SO predictable... He fires several fireballs down at where ToxoViper fell. Explosions erupt all around. Red Lion Ranger slowly sinks down and gently lands on the ground. Red Lion Ranger: Any time... ToxoViper jumps up out of the crater and lands a few feet away from Red Lion Ranger. Red Lion Ranger:... now! ToxoViper: By what creeps, what crawls, by what does not - let all that grows recede and rot! A purple mist flows from ToxoViper and drifts towards Red Lion Ranger. He activates his thrusters and hovers above the mist. He watches as it envelops a Venture Vehicle. The mist absorbs into the almost new car, which suddenly begins to rust. Eventually it crumbles away into dust. ToxoViper fires another blast of mist. It misses Red Lion Ranger but drifts towards the hospital where it enters through an open window. Red Lion Ranger: Dang, they left that out of the report. He fires more fireballs at ToxoViper, which strike the monster, knocking him back. Red Lion Ranger: Hmm, if I remember rightly, they should appear right about... NOW! The other Lion Rangers run down the street and up to Red. Blue Lion Ranger: Why didn't you call for us? Black Lion Ranger: We could have helped. Red Lion Ranger: I didn't need your help. Yellow Lion Ranger: Why now? Red Lion Ranger: Enough talk, let's get this over with. They all draw their Fire Sabres and start to attack ToxoViper. Red Lion Ranger suddenly steps back from the battle and teleports away. Pink Lion Ranger: Where the HELL is he going? Blue Lion Ranger: Who cares, we've got a monster to deal with! ToxoViper knocks the Rangers away and makes a run for it. The Lion Rangers give chase, activating their thrusters and flying towards the monster. They carry him high above the city and away from danger. Setting: Newalla Jungle ToxoViper: Release me! Blue Lion Ranger: Fat chance! ToxoViper: I have information for you. Information about your leader, DRAX! The Rangers drop ToxoViper and land in front of him. They draw their Fire Sabres, Blue Lion Ranger pressing the tip of his against ToxoViper's chest. ToxoViper: I propose an exchange: information for life. Blue Lion Ranger: Speak. ToxoViper: Your leader is not all he appears to be... Several massive fireballs slam into ToxoViper, knocking him away and causing him great pain and damage. Red Lion Ranger flies towards Blue Lion Ranger and grabs his Fire Sabre. He then turns and flies right towards ToxoViper. ToxoViper: I surrender. In exchange for life, I give you my knowledge. Red Lion Ranger: I'll give you some information about life, for free! ToxoViper: And that is? Red Lion Ranger: IT ENDS! He stabs both Fire Sabres through ToxoViper, the monster screams in pain. Red Lion Ranger removes the Fire Sabres and begins to slash ToxoViper. Miniature explosions erupt all over ToxoViper. Red Lion Ranger turns his back on the snake monster as he topples over and explodes. Red Lion Ranger: Fraternising with the enemy! Is that any way to win a campaign? He throws Blue Ranger's Fire Sabre back to him, then flies above the other Rangers and looks down at them. Red Lion Ranger: As they say: don't call us, and we WON'T call you! Blue Lion Ranger: What did he mean by 'Your leader is not all he appears to be'? Pink Lion Ranger: What are you keeping from us? Red Lion Ranger: Everyone has secrets, Pinkie. Even you! He flies down and lands in front of her. He then places a hand on her stomach. Red Lion Ranger: I know your secret. Tell me: boy or girl? Red Lion Ranger steps back, activates his thrusters and flies away. Blue Lion Ranger (to Kendrix): You're pregnant? Pink Ranger: How did he know? Blue Lion Ranger: You're PREGNANT?! Pink Lion Ranger: Yes, we're going to have a baby. The Rangers de-morph and Kendrix and Leo hug each other tightly. Setting: Terra Venture Hospital An orderly hears crying and rushes into Maya's hospital room. He finds her curled up on her bed, her face, horribly disfigured. A faint purple mist drifts around the foot of her bed. THE END Next time on Power Rangers: Lion Force Clip 1: Maya is laid on an examination table, with doctors studying her scarred and disfigured face. Clip 2: Dr Rayga studying a vial of the purple mist found in Maya's hospital room. Clip 3: Drax in a surgical mask and gown. He enters the isolation room where Maya is being held. Clip 4: The shadowy outline of a spaceship heading towards Mirinoi. Clip 5: explosions erupting behind the Lion Rangers, sending them crashing down.
