Power Rangers: Lion Force Episode 26 "A Cold Spell" By DinoBot Setting: Downtown Terra Venture FireStorm and Venomina are walking down the street, both of them are carrying numerous packages, FireStorm even has a roll of wrapping paper in his mouth as he can't carry anything else as his hands are full. Venomina: Well, this should cover just about everything RaptorCon walks up to them and takes the roll of wrapping paper from FireStorm's mouth. RaptorCon: So, are we all set? FireStorm: Yes we certainly are, this is gonna be one hell of a party... Venomina: I hope you can keep him out of the way long enough for us to get set up... RaptorCon: Leave it to me, I'll keep him busy He sticks the roll of wrapping paper back in FireStorm's mouth and walks away. Setting: Miranite Village Red Lion Force Ranger is flying above the Miranite village, using his blasters to carve out a small stream from a nearby river. He concentrates the blaster fire and creates a pond, allowing the water to gather. He lands as he holsters his blasters. A group of Miranites and the village elder walk up to him. Red Lion Force Ranger: There you go, now you'll not have to walk so far to get the water for your crops Village Elder: Thank you Red Ranger, you have saved us weeks of work Red Lion Force Ranger: It was no problem, besides, it makes a change from fighting Dameacon's monsters... He then takes a few steps back. Red Lion Force Ranger: Red Ranger, power down There is a flash of red energy as Red Lion Force Ranger de-morphs back into Drax. The village elder looks over Drax then turns and whispers something to a middle aged Miranite woman, who turns and quickly walks towards one of the huts and disappears inside. Village Elder: tell me Red Ranger, do you have a mate? Drax is caught off guard by the village elder's question. Drax: Why would you want to know that? Village Elder: Everyone needs a mate Red Ranger. Someone to take care of their affairs for them, and other things? Drax: If you mean what I think you mean by 'other things' then... The middle aged Miranite woman comes back out of the hut with a shapely Miranite girl wearing a smaller version of Maya's standard outfit. Her long brown hair flows loosely down her back. Her skin is slightly darkened, as if she has a permanent sun tan. She has piercing blue eyes and her body makes Maya look ugly. To sum it up, she's a gorgeous Miranite girl who's offering it to Drax on a silver platter. Drax: ...Whoa.. just... whoa.... Village Elder: Red Ranger, this is my daughter, Kayt. She has come of the age where she has to take a mate. I want you to have her Red Ranger Kayt: I will serve you faithfully Red Ranger, in and out of bed... Village Elder: So Red Ranger, will you take her as your mate and honor us with grandchildren? Before Drax can reply, a white mist surrounds them and falls to the ground and takes on a humanoid shape. Freezor is a slender creature whose sin is blue and has chunks of ice sticking out of his body. FREEZOR: A CHILL IS COMING... He sprays the Miranites with a blue gas, which solidifies around them, encasing them in solid blocks of ice, he then turns to face Drax. Freezor: It's just you and me Red Ranger... FireStorm: I beg to differ... FireStorm teleports in and stands next to Drax. Freezor: Two or two hundred, I'll turn you all into blocks of ice then I'll... A beam of energy slams into Freezor, hacking off a chunk of ice. He whirls around and sees RaptorCon holding a Machine Blaster. RaptorCon: Come on ice breath, let's fight... As Freezor runs after RaptorCon, FireStorm walks up to the frozen form of Kayt and taps it with his knuckle. FireStorm: I see you've been keeping busy. And to think you said you were helping them with their crops... Drax: I was, the village elder wants me to marry his daughter... FireStorm: You get all the lucky breaks... Drax: Then you can have her... FireStorm: Oh no, she's been given to you. And don't you think you should go and help chopper face before Freezor makes him extinct? Drax: LION RANGER FORCE Setting: Ginga Forrest RaptorCon dodges the ice cold energy blast and returns fire with his Machine Blaster. RaptorCon: MISSED ME... Freezor shoots a blue ray from his hands which hits RaptorCon's tail, freezing it in a solid block of ice. Freezor: I'm about to show you why Raptors became extinct... As Arctic advances towards RaptorCon, he is hit in the back by an energy beam, he whirls around and fires a beam of ice cold energy at Red Lion Force Ranger, it hits him dead center and turns him into a solid block of ice. Freezor: A chill is coming, and I am the harbinger of it's icy doom... FireStorm: I don't think so... FireStorm warps in and head butts Freezor, knocking him back. FireStorm snarls at the ice monster and spits a fireball at him, Freezor dodges and teleports away in a cloud of snow. RaptorCon: Ok brimstone breath, how about using your mega breath and freeing Drax and then my tail... FireStorm turns and breaths a super heated jet of flame at the frozen form of Red Lion Force Ranger, but nothing happens. He tires again and still nothing happens. RaptorCon: Loosing your touch? FireStorm: Not bloody likely. Now let's get back to the Lion Star. Maybe we can come up with something FireStorm stands next to Red Lion Force Ranger's frozen body and warps away. RaptorCon stands up and tries to walk, but his frozen tail is making it next to impossible. RaptorCon: A little help would be nice... A few seconds later, FireStorm warps back in, grabs RaptorCon and the two of them warp out. Setting: LionStar - Medical Bay An x-ray begins to scan Red Lion Force Ranger's frozen body and RaptorCon's frozen tail as FireStorm works on a computer. The other Lion Force Rangers wait patiently. Maya: Can you free them and the villagers? FireStorm: I have no idea as to how to melt the ice, I've tired everything from fire to hitting it with a large rock RaptorCon: Well, I've though of a way I can get out of my ice prison? Kai: How? RaptorCon: If I can sever my tail, it will grow back... Maya: But how will that help the villagers? RaptorCon: I don't give a snot about them, I just want my tail out of this slaggin block of ice... Suddenly the alarm sounds, FireStorm moves to a console and taps the controls Leo: What's going on? FireStorm: I am tracking down the source of the trouble... FireStorm types on the computer to locate the endangered area. FireStorm: It looks like the cold weather cretin has frozen several areas of the city. They are covered in snow and ice. He must be stopped before the rest of the planet is attacked. Arias: We're on our way. Let's do it! Setting: Downtown Terra Venture In the city, Freezor and a band of Tank Drones are rampaging through the frozen streets of Terra Venture. Freezor: Soon, the entire city will be my ice castle. The five remaining Lion Force Rangers arrive on the scene. Green Lion Force Ranger: Ok you Freeon freak, your sub zero rampage is over... Freezor looks at the Rangers with a look of contempt. Freezor: Tank Drones, attack. The Tank Drones jump race towards the Rangers and begin their attack. Setting: LionStar - Medical Bay RaptorCon looks at the stump where his tail used to be. Already, it is starting to re-grow. FireStorm: Are you ok? RaptorCon: Yeah, I'll be fine just as soon as my tail has re-grown... FireStorm looks at the frozen block of ice that contains RaptorCon's severed tail. FireStorm: It's like this ice is drawing it's power from Freezor himself... RaptorCon: Then why not slag Freezor and be done with it... FireStorm roars in anger and smashes his fist into the block of ice as hard as he can. The ice remains intact. FireStorm: Fine, if that ice freak wants to play it rough, then I'll have top play HARDER... FireStorm walks over to a console and slams his hands down on a button and the next instant, he is taken away by the familiar glow of the teleporter. Setting: Downtown Terra Venture Freezor forms a long blade of ice on his right arm and starts to fight Green Lion Force Ranger. Freezor manages to take the upper hand and kicks Green Lion Force Ranger away. Green Lion Force Ranger stays low on the ground and pulls out his blaster with his free hand. Freezor sees this and fires a blast from his hands and freezes the Rangers from the waist down and pinning their arms to their sides. Blue Lion Force Ranger: Unh, I'm frozen Pink Lion Force Ranger: I can't move FireStorm teleports in, holding a massive Machine Blaster. FireStorm: Ok, I've had enough of your freezing rampage, it ends, right here, NOW... FireStorm lets loose with the machine blaster while simultaneously blasting Freezor with a jet of flame. Freezor(In Pain): I WILL NOT BE BEATEN... FireStorm: Wanna bet? FireStorm increases fire from the Machine Blaster and fires a large fireball at Freezor. Freezor: Oh fu... The rest of his final words are not heard as the combination machine blaster fire and the huge fireball rip the monster apart. Upon the destruction of the monster, the ice covering the Rangers melts away. Setting: Terra Venture The icy that had covered the human colony melts away, freeing the people from their icy prison. Setting: Miranite Village He ice that had covered the Miranite village melts away, also freeing them from their ice cold prison. Village Elder: It seems as if the Red Ranger has once again freed us from another monster attack. Kayt: He will make an excellent mate for me, you chose well father. Setting: LionStar - Bridge Drax steps onto the bridge, and the first thin he notices is that all the lights are out. Drax: What's going on? The lights suddenly flicker on, and RaptorCon, FireStorm and Venomina are all present. RaptorCon/FireStorm/Venomina: Happy Birthday... Drax(Smiling): How did you guys find out? RaptorCon: I told them, and since you hate birthday parties, I figured we'd have a private one for you up here... Drax smiles and moves to his friends as RaptorCon hands him a small rectangular box. RaptorCon: this one is from me, go on, open it... Drax tears the wrapping paper off the box and opens it; it's a box of cigars. RaptorCon: They'll come in handy for later... Drax: Cool... He takes one out and sniffs it appreciatively. RaptorCon: They're the rarest in the galaxy, all the way from Onyx... Venomina steps up and hands Drax a grey wooden box. Venomina: This one is from me Drax opens the box and inside is an ornately engraved lighter. Drax: It's beautiful, thank you FireStorm steps up and hands Drax a rectangular present. He unwraps it and it is revealed to be a book called "I did not have Sexual Relations with that woman: 1001 way to deny the night before" and it is written by B. Clinton. FireStorm: We all got you one big gift, which is in your quarters Setting: LionStar - Drax' Quarters Drax steps into his quarters and the first thin he notices is that all the lights are out. Drax: Ok, what's going on? He feels the wall in darkness and his fingers find the light switch, he turns the lights on and when he turns around, he just stares at what is laying in his bed. Kayt: I will serve you faithfully Red Ranger, in and out of bed... Kayt pulls back the covers, revealing her bare naked body. Kayt: I am your mate, do with me as you wish... A smile creeps across Drax's face as he stares at Kayt's bare naked body. THE END
