Power Rangers: Lion Force Episode 24 "A Gaseous Predicament" By DinoBot Setting: LionStar - Bridge Drax is alone and seated in the pilot's chair. He works the controls and looks up at the view screen which divides into smaller monitors. Drax: Ok, let's see how you are all doing... He hits a controls and the smaller monitors flickers to life, each of them showing a different scene. Drax: Ok, time to heck in on our old friend the Masked Rider... Drax works the controls and the monitor returns to normal and now shows Masked Rider fighting a group of Maggots and a praying mantis type monster. Drax: All is well in Leawood, now how about Cross World city, it's been a while since I heard anything from the VR troopers Drax works the controls and the monitor changes and shows Ryan, Kaitlin and JB training in the park. Drax: All is quiet with our virtual friends, now let's check up on those kids from Chaterville Drax works the controls and the monitor changes and displays an image of Zoom comics, and as the door opens, the view screen shifts images and displays a monster on the surface of Miranoi. Drax: Oh just when it was getting good Drax watches as the view screen shifts and gets a closer image of the monster; it closely resembles ToxoViper. Noxious: Where Noxious failed, I shall prevail... Setting: Downtown Terra Venture Terrified citizens run in fear as Noxious releases the tubes from his body, which pierce the road. They start pumping the noxious gas into the ground. Within moments the gas rises up all over the city. People begin choking on it and passing out. Red Lion Force Ranger: You are so going down Red Lion Force Ranger descends down and lands in front of Noxious with the Fire Saber held tightly in his hands. Noxious: Red Lion Force Ranger, you will fall before me... He retracts the hoses from the road and whips them at Red Lion Force Ranger, who back flips out of their way. Red Lion Force Ranger: Missed me, missed me, now you gotta kiss me! Red Lion Force Ranger back flips away, and in mid flip, he activates the thrusters in his boots and flies towards Noxious. He grabs Noxious and carries the vile monster high above the city. Red Lion Force Ranger: This is where you get off I believe... Noxious: Wanna bet? Noxious sprouts a pair of tattered bat like wings and blasts Red Lion Force Ranger with a blast of purple gas then quickly grabs the Fire Saber and fires it, the blast sends Red Lion Force Ranger crashing down to the street below. Red Lion Force Ranger: (Unintelligible Roar) Red Lion Force Ranger slams into the road, and explosions erupt all around him. Noxious aims the Fire Saber at where Red Lion Force Ranger fell. Noxious: This is gonna be SO much fun... He fires the Fire Saber, sending a cascade of fireballs raining down on the spot where Red Lion Force Ranger fell. After a few moments, he stops and descends down to street level. Red Lion Force Ranger: That does it, I'm gonna kill you twice over for that you lousy reptile... Noxious: Like you just tried to? Red Lion Force Ranger: Well, I thought I might have some help this time... Noxious: Like I'm gonna fall for that old trick... RaptorCon: This ain't no trick gas breath... FireStorm: What it is, however, is your DEATH... Noxious turns around and is rewarded by a fireball from FireStorm that sends him stumbling backwards. RaptorCon: My turn... RaptorCon leaps into the air and crashed down on Noxious, he then begins punching the toxic snake monster before grabbing the Fire Saber and jumping off him. Noxious: Oh that was SO unfair, three on one... RaptorCon: Here Drax, I believe this is yours... RaptorCon tosses him the Fire Saber, he catches it and aims it at Noxious. Red Lion Force Ranger: Now, I believe I was about to slag you... Noxious: Destroy me and my gasses will burn away the atmosphere of this world... Red Lion Force Ranger: Then I guess I'll have to try something else... like THIS... From out of the tip of the Fire Saber, shoots a white foam, it sticks to Noxious and soon hardens into an impenetrable shell. Noxious: LET ME GO YOU TRAITOR... Red Lion Force Ranger: Like I'm gonna let you go, nice try He sends the Fire Saber away and walks up to the immobilised Noxious. Red Lion Force Ranger: Let's taker a ride... He grabs him and activates his thrusters, sending them both hurtling skyward. Setting: Space - Miranoi Orbit Red Lion Force Ranger rockets up from Miranoi and through the atmosphere and into the cold grasp of space. He glides to a stop and pushed Noxious away, he summons the Fire Saber and aims it at the immobilised form of Noxious. Red Lion Force Ranger: Let's see what damage you do in space... He fires the Fire Saber, releasing a bolt of energy that wraps around the trapped Noxious. The energy constricts around him, causing energy to wash over his body a split second before he explodes in a ball of energy that is quickly snuffed out in the airless vacuum of space. Red Lion Force Ranger: Well, that was quick, now back to my other work... Red Lion Force Ranger turns around and flies back towards Miranoi. Setting: LionStar - Bridge The other Rangers are gathered on the bridge, RaptorCon and FireStorm stand off to the side. Kai: Well, this was an eventful day. NOT Leo: You could have called us to help you with that monster Drax: Why? I beat him on my own so why should I have called you? Maya: Because we're your team-mates... Drax: So? I didn't need your help Arias: You could have done though... Drax: Would you go after a Putty, Tenga or a Quantron with a MegaZord? No, because it's overkill, and that's what it would have been today if you'd have helped out Drax sits back in the pilot's chair and puts his feet up on the console. Drax: Now if you don't mind, I've got work to do... Leo goes to say something, but thinks better of it as the rest of the Rangers leave. RaptorCon: We'll be heading off to, give you a chance to finish up your 'special time project' Drax: Thanks guys FireStorm: No problem... The two monsters leave the bridge. After they have gone, Drax sits up and works the console. Drax: Computer, load historical image Lahana Em 13 Computer: Image loaded The view screen flickers to life, Drax sits back and just stares at the image of Kira Ford, the Yellow Dino thunder Ranger with a smile and the look of someone who is in love on his face.
