Power Rangers: Lion Force Episode 12 "A Gaseouse Problem" By DinoBot Setting: Space A very large distortion hangs in orbit of and orange and brown planet. The distortion fades and reveals a massive alien starship. Setting: Unknown Darkness fills the room completly, with no exception. Suddenly, the room lights up and a conference table can be seen. The table has six chairs, with one at one end, facing the other six. Suddenly, five shafts of light appear, over the five chairs at the oposite end. The shafts of light are infact teleporter beams, and as five humanoid shapes materialise, the beams fade, leaving the five people cast in darkness. Voice 1: The mission has changed, RaptorCon now leads the mission Voice 2: RaptorCon will carry out the mission. But with Drax out of the picture, we can now procede with Phase 2, ahead of schedule Voice 3: Was it retrieved intact? Voice 4: It was, and work has already begun.... Voice 5: Excellent Voice 1: But there is a problem with phase 2 Voice 2: Explain.... A holographic image forms from the center of the table. Voice 1: Behold, the problem with phase 2..... The holographic image solidifies. It is a second Terra Venture in orbit of Earth. Voice 1: The human colony is being launched directly at Miranoi. And without the interferance of Scorpius, Trakena, Captain Mutiny or a Lost Galaxy rift, it will reach Miranoi in three standard months Voice 2: How is the Human colony a threat to the mission? Voice 1: There is a 15 percent chance that when the colony arrives, they will locate the other five objects before we do. That can not be allowed Voice 3: Destroying the colony will only cause an investigation which will, in all likelyhood, lead to our discovery Voice 4: Then we must allow the colony to be launched Voice 5: We must re-double our efforts to find the remaining objects before the colony arrives Voice 1: We must also increase work on phase 2 All Voices: Agreed Setting: Miranoi's Moon The wreckage of terra Venture and the StratoForce and Centarus MegaZord's can still be seen, littered about the barren surface. moving about the wreckage is RaptorCon, following behind him is a HUGE hover cart, filled with wreckage and salvaged parts. RaptorCon: Oh yes, these will do nicely. They will provide some EXCELLENT replacement parts for the LionStar and spare parts for the... Suddenly, his scanning device beeps. He takes it out and studies the display. RaptorCon: Hmmm.... He presses a button on the device then speaks into it. RaptorCon: Rangers, I'm detecting a monster in the industrial sector, check it out Maya: What about you? RaptorCon: I'm busy Setting: Industrial sector An explosion rocks the center of the industrial sector, sending three people crashing into a wall and destroying an information terminal. Icelouse: Bow humans, bow before the might of ICELOUSE. Icelouse is a huge monster with jagged dorsal fins. His feet are huge. 3 four long Talons stick out. The body is as wide as a coach. The two arms, as thick as redwood trunks. The serpentine neck, long and covered with scales. Icelouse's mouth is filled with huge, sharp teeth. Despite his appearance and his huge spiked tail that swishes about behind him, Icelouse is bipedal. His body is various shades of ice blue and has an icy mist flaoting about it. Icelouse watches as the terrified citizens run. Icelouse(laughing): That's it, run, you know you can't beat me. Maybe you can... NOT! Icelouse is suddenly hit by a powerful beam of energy that knocks him off his feet and crashes him into the ground. Icelouse: WHO DARES ATTACK ME? SHOW YOURSELF! The four remaining Lion Force Rangers decend down from the sky and stand in front of Icelouse. Pink Lion Force Ranger: PLEASE say you'll fight, as I'm in the mood to kick your frozen butt back to where it came from. Icelouse: I'd like you to meet some friends of mine... A snowstorm whips up around Icelouse. Several humanoid shapes take form. The snowstorm fades away, revealing several Ice Mites standing in front of Icelouse. Icelouse: ATTACK! The Ice Mites jump through the air and surround the Rangers. Icelouse: They will take care of them, leaving you all to me... Pink Lion Force Ranger summons her Fire Saber while Icelouse creates a sword out of ice. Pink Lion Force Ranger charges at Icelouse. The two block each others' sword attacks. Pink Lion Force Ranger goes for an overhead swing but Icelouse blocks and follows through with a spinning elbow punch into the gut and is knocked back a few feet. Icelouse: I have news for you human... Pink Lion Force Ranger: And that is? Icelouse: A CHILL is coming... Snow begins to fall all around them, and the Ice Mites dissolve into mist. Pink Lion Force Ranger: It's snowing. Black Lion Force Ranger: Yeah, but it's mid-July. Blue Lion Force Ranger: Everyone, stay alert. The wind starts to pick up and the snow comes down even thicker as if it were a blizzard. Everyone tries to shield themselves from the wind and snow, but it is too strong. with the exception of Blue Lion Force Ranger, who's holding onto a lamp post, the other Rangers are blown into the air and fall some distance from where they stood. They all get up in a fighting stance to see Icelouse walking through the snowstorm. Icelouse: What's the matter? Feeling a bit under the weather today? Blue Lion Force Ranger: Yeah, no thanks to you. Yellow Lion force Ranger: Ok, this is getting old, i say we finish this now so... Icelouse: Not this time. Icelouse blows a frozen mist from his mouth which surrounds the others. Blue Lion Force Ranger: That does it... As they try to charge Icelouse they realize that they bodies are becomming coverd in ice. Icelouse: This should leave you frozen in your tracks. Icelouse shoots a blue ray from his mouth which hits all the Rangers. Suddenly they are frozen in huge blocks of ice. Icelouse: Bye Bye kiddies Setting: Miranoi's Moon As RaptorCon continues to gather the wreckage, the scanning device beeps again. He takes it out and studies the display RaptorCon: I guess I'll have to hep them after all.... He tosses a peice of wreckage into the hover-cart then teleports out Setting: Industrial Sector As Icelouse is about to teleport away, he is struck in the chest by two energy beams and knocked down. RaptorCon: You may have frozen the Rangers, but you won't leave me out in the cold Icelouse: Can't catch me.... As RaptorCon tires to blast him, Icelouse teleports away in a blizzard of snow. Setting: Starship Bridge RaptorCon teleports is and walks up to FireStorm. RaptorCon: Ok brimestone breath, the Rangers need your help FireStorm: Ok Raptor-Wimp, lead on.... Setting: Industrial Sector FireStorm tapps on the frozen form of Pink Lion Ranger with his knuckle. FireStorm: Hmm, this should proove no problem..... He takes a few steps back and breath a jet of fire at the block of ice, then after a few seconds, he stops. The block of ice remains intact. FireStorm: Well, as the tree said to the lumberjack, I'm stumped.... my flames should have melted the ice.... RaptorCon: Icelouse certainly gave them the cold shoulder.... FireStorm: Icelouse did this?.... then you know there is only one who can free them AND stop Icelouse.... RaptorCon groans. He knows which monster FireStorm is talking about. RaptorCon: ToxoViper.... FireStorm: The one and only..... RaptorCon leans against an oil drum and strums his fingers on it. He is trying to figure out a way to help the Rangers, with out using ToxoViper. RaptorCon: Is there NO other way to help them? FireStorm: He is the only one who can melt Icelouse' ice, I sure as hell can't RaptorCon: Oh ok then, let's go an thaw the looney tune out. Setting: - Unknown - Medical Quarters FireStorm and RaptorCon are in advanced medical quarters, far superior to those on Terra Venture. It's almost like they are from the future?. RaptorCon: I'll activate the AutoGuns FireStorm: A wise precaution RaptorCon moves to the computer console and works the controls while Lucas moves to the other console and keeps his finger hovering above a red button. A few seconds later, the flash of the teleporter fills the room, when it fades, ToxoViper stands in the middle of the Medical Quarters. He has a thin sheen of mist rising up from his body from the icy confines of the stasis chamber. When the mist has faded away, we get our first look at ToxoViper. He is wrapped up a long purple cloak that covers most of his body. Attached to parts of his body were clear tubes, with a purple liquid coursing through them. The tubes weave in and out of the purple cloak. He is wearing jet black military style boots. His head is covered with a purple hood and the lower half of his face is hidden behind a metal faceplate, with his fangs poking through, from which drips the same purple liquid that ran through the tubes. The rest of his face is hidden beneath the cloak, with only his two glowing red eyes visbale. There is whisps of cobalt blue hair peeking out from under the hood. He staggers around and stedies himself on a console. ToxoViper: French toast please... He tries to walk away, but slips and falls and lands on his behind. ToxoViper: Hold all the calls, offer expires while you wait..... He lays flat on the floor, staring up at the ceeling. RaptorCon walks up to him and stares down at him. ToxoViper: And the answer is.... ANGELINA JOLIE.... RaptorCon: Why's he talking gibberish FireStorm: It is a side affect from stasis and will not last long ToxoViper slowly sits up and rubs his head. ToxoViper: Ohh my aching head..... He looks at RaptorCon as he pulls himself to his feet. RaptorCon: I'll cut to the chase. We need your help... ToxoViper: Over my rotting corpse, oh I'm sorry, did I say that out loud Firestorm: ToxoViper, we really need your help. Will you at least think it over ToxoViper: I will, but my answer still we be BITE ME. The almighty panel decided I was INSANE and decided that I am a risk and you locked me AWAY RaptorCon: That does it, i say we RIP the venom from his brain... ToxoViper(sarcastically): All this time i think you really like me, but it's my venom you're after He climbs up on the console and sits cross legged and folds his arms. FireStorm: ToxoViper, we really need your assistance. The Rangers were frozen by a monster called Icelouse... At the mention of the ice monster's name, ToxoViper gets down off the console and walks up to RaptorCon. ToxoViper: Ok Human, I'll give you some venom... He spits a cloud of venom at RaptorCon and teleports away before FireStorm can activate the auto-guns. Setting: Downtown Terra Venture ToxoViper teleports into the city center in a cloud of noxious gas. Terrified citizens run in fear at the sight of the noxious snake monster. ToxoViper: Ok Icelouse you FREON FREAK, show yourself Icelouse doesn't appear, so ToxoViper continues to wander around the city. ToxoViper: I know you can hear me you ICE IDIOT A cold mist rises up infront of ToxoViper and coaleses into Icelouse. Icelouse: ToxoViper, when did they let... ToxoViper doesn't wait to hear the rest of the sentence as he charges at Icelouse. he punches him in the side of the head then leaps on him and begins beating and biting him. It's almost like he's crazed, which is not to far from the truth. Setting: - Unknown - Medical Quarters FireStorm and RaptorCon are watching the battle on the monitor. RaptorCon has recovered from being knocked out by ToxoViper. RaptorCon: This is un-real... FireStorm: In all my years, I've never seen two monsters go at each other as visciously as ToxoViper is attacking Icelouse RaptorCon: Brimestone breath, are you getting this. The others won't belive me, I want to SHOW them what went on FireStorm: I would advise going out to battle them, if we wait, they might kill each other then you can harvest the venom needed to save.... An alarm begins ringing and Beta interupts them. FireStorm: We've got a problem, LOOK... They watch the monitor and see Icelouse throw ToxoViper into the side of a crowded school bus, which is knocked over. RaptorCon: Oh no, the children... I have to do something... FireStorm: Understood Setting: Downtown Terra Venture ToxoViper lays still on the toppled over bus. The screams and cries of the children inside filter out, but don't seem, to wake him. Icelouse: After all these years, you're STILL a crappy fighter Icelouse walks towards ToxoViper, laughing insanely. Icelouse: And you're a LOOSER, just like that TRAMP.... ToxoViper suddenly sits up and blasts Icelouse with a jet of acid that sends him crashing down, screaming in pain. Slowly, ToxoViper gets off the school bus and walks towards Icelouse and begins kicking him savagley. Icelouse whis his til around and knocks ToxoViper away and gets back up. The two monster begin circling each other like two predators. As they are about to start fighting, RaptorCon runs up. Icelouse: Ahh, like lambs to the slaughter. So you come to meet your DOOM. RaptorCon: Either this ends now, peacefully or I will end it... ToxoViper: Stay out of this, it has nothing to do with you or your crappy world... RaptorCon: What about all the INNOCENT humans you are hurting? They've done nothing to you. CHILDREN are getting HURT ToxoViper: I don't give a FRAG about children, humans, or ANYONE for that matter. All that I care about is MY VENGEANCE and if a few hurt kiddies is bothering you, GO HELP THEM ToxoViper knocks RaptorCon aside and charges at Icelouse. RaptorCon: Hang on kids, I'm comming... ToxoViper: You will PAY for what you did to me and my family.... Icelouse: No, I wont.... As RaptorCon moves to help the trapped kids in the bus, ToxoViper and Icelouse begin fighting once again. ToxoViper whirls around and fires a dozen acid balls at Icelouse. He ducks and the acid balls slam into various buildings, setting them on-fire. Icelouse: My turn.... Icelouse fires several ice grenades at ToxoViper, who dodges them using Matrix style moves. the ice grenades slam into a few buildings, turning them to ice. The frozen buildings then shatter. Icelouse fires a jet of freon at ToxoViper, which burns his left arm. Icelouse: You should know by now: I WIN and YOU LOSE. And now, it's time to go kill, maim and DESTROY! With those words ringing ToxoViper's ears, Icelouse teleports away, laughing insanely. ToxoViper: NOOOOOO ToxoViper attempts to teleport, but his frozen arm prevents him. Instead of teleporting, he crashes down to the ground with a flash of energy. ToxoViper turns and wathces as RaptorCon tries to help the children in the wecked school bus. ToxoViper: And to think I was like that once... RaptorCon turns and sees ToxoViper staring at him. RaptorCon: Help me. I can't free these children on my own... ToxoViper: I'm a monster, I don't help you, i'm supposed to destroy you... but i've got other things to do... RaptorCon: I heard what you said to Icelouse, something about your family... Those words seem to ignite anger within ToxoViper, he rushes forward and grabs RaptorCon by the throat and lifts him up off the ground. ToxoViper: MY FAMILY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS MUDDBALL WORLD He slams him onto the side of the wrecked school buss. He wraps both his hands around his throat and begins chocking him. ToxoViper: It's a pity you humans die so easily or i might have a sense of satifaction now... A few feet away, another monster teleports in, the monster bears a close resemblence to Icelouse. Arctice: That's it ToxoViper, KILL HIM then it's onto the Lion Star to finish off the Lion Force Rangers ONCE AND FOR ALL ToxoViper squeezes RaptorCon's throat even tighter. Arctice: He's almost dead ToxoViper, KILL the pathetic Human and you will be greatly... ToxoViper lets go of RaptorCon and turns to face Arctice. ToxoViper: I thought you would like that pleasure yourself... As Arctice moves towards RaptorCon, ToxoViper blasts him with a jet of corrosive acid which sends him crashing to the ground. ToxoViper: IT WAS YOUR BROTHERS FAULT I AM THE WAY I AM. One advantage aboiut being frozen by the pannel was it gave me time to wrest my mind from your control, you INSIDIOUSE FREAK Arctice: You'll PAY for this... ToxoViper: Thanks to you and Icelouse, I am the way I am, and for that, I WILL destroy you.... Arctice: You haven't heard the last of me.... Arctice teleports away. RaptorCon pulls himself to his feet and stumbles to ToxoViper. RaptorCon: What do you mean 'I am the way I am'? ToxoViper: It is none of your concern human RaptorCon: It IS my concern, you bested Arctice with one shot, we could certainly use.... ToxoViper: Don't go there, my days of being a hero have died long ago.... ToxoViper teleports away in a cloud of noxious gass. RaptorCon turns back to the bus of trapped children. RaptorCon: Hang on kids, i'm comming Setting: Outskirts Of Terra Venture ToxoViper sits on a large rocky outcropping, looking at the city Setting: ToxoViper's Flashback - Signea - Before the invasion by Dark Specters forces A teenage boy is walking across a vast and beautiful park. He is 6'2, but looks taller due to the fact that he is very petite and slim. He has long cobalt blue hair which is tied back in a ponytail. ToxoViper(Narrating): My life SUCKS. It didn't suck before.... He walks accross the park and stops at an information terminal. He studies it then walks towards a large building in the distance. ToxoViper(Narrating): Before the war, I lived on Signea. Back then it used to be a nice place to live In the distance, we see a familiar blue gas begin to coalese. ToxoViper(Narrating): Then the invasion came..... The blue gas forms into Icelouse, Behind him, more monsters teleport in along with Quantrons, Piranatrons, Putties, Cogs, Tenga's and all the other foot soldiers from the past. ToxoViper(Narrating): Our defence forces were no match for Dark Specter's armies. We see the Signean Defece Force fighting the army of monsters. they are fighting for their lives, but it is not good enough, Thye are slowly being beaten back. Their armour is very much like the trooper armour on Terra Venture ToxoViper(Narrating): Even in space, we were being beaten back... Setting: Space - Signea Orbit We see hundreads of Quadra-Fighters and Velocifighters attacking the Signean Defence fleet. and as with the ground troops, they are being beaten back. Then suddenly, transwarp wormholes open up and huge, pyramid ships drop into notmal shape and begin fighting the Quadra-Fighters and VelociFighters. ToxoViper(Narrating): Thankfully Signea was under the protection of Triforia, so when the invasion began, we had help. Setting: Signea capital city We see the Trifroian ships landing all around the city. The triforian troops help people into the ships. ToxoViper(Narrating): Facing a total invasion, the Triforians decided to evacuate as many of our people as they can. It was a sucsess. It was the final day of the evacuation when I met Icelouse Setting: Signea capitol city We see the human ToxoViper helping the Triforian troops with the evacuation. Human ToxoViper moves away from the troops and goes up to a young girl, who's holding a baby. ToxoViper(Narrating): I was evacuating my.... friend and her child when Icelouse struck. Icelouse teleports in and looks around. Icelouse: What's going on here then..... The Triforian Commander turns to the human ToxoViper. Triforian Commander: We'll hold off the monster, you get the last civilians onboard and get out of here Human ToxoViper: Aye sir He turns to the young girl holding the baby. Human ToxoViper: You have to go.... Manthasa: What about you, he said to come with us.... Human ToxoViper: I can't leave them. To leave them would be without honor... He guides her to the ship and loads them abaord. Human ToxoViper(To the ship Commander): Get out of here, NOW ToxoViper(Narrating): I thought that sending them away would keep them safe, I was wrong.... Icelouse snaps the neck of the last of the Triforian troops then sees the escaping shuttle. Icelouse: I don;t think so... The ice monster breaths a jet of ice at the escaping shuttle, the deadly cold beam slams into the shuttle. Human ToxoViper: NOOOOO He watches as the shuttle explodes in a ball of flame, debris and ice. Icelouse: Opps, did i do that? ToxoViper(Narrating): In that one instant, my whole life ended and i saw no reason to continue... Human ToxoViper: You murdering bastard.... Human ToxoViper picks up a grenade from one of the dead soldiers as well as a rifle. Human ToxoViper: DIE MONSTER SCUM..... He charges at Icelouse, firing the blaster. the rapid energy blasts confuse Icelouse, giving Human ToxoViper chance to get close. he jumps on the monster, and almost instsantly begins to freeze. Human ToxoViper: S...See y.y.you in the inferno..... He pulsl the pin on the grenade. Setting: Outside Signea's Capitol City We see a MASSIVE explosion rise up from the city. we also hear Icelouse roar as the explosion fades away. ToxoViper(Narrating): The explosion obviously didn't destroy Icelouse, and it did something.... unique to myself.... Setting: Signea capitol city The explosion has destroyed several buildings and created a huge crater in the middle of the city. In the middle of the crator, we see a half burried ToxoViper amid the rubble. ToxoViper(Narrating): The energy released when I detonated the grenade, couple with DNA from Icelouse, mutated me into the form you see before you.... Setting: Dark Fortress - Monster Lab We see ToxoViper laying on a metal table, strapped down. ToxoViper(Narrating): I don't know how long I lay in the rubble, but the next time I was consious, it was on the Dark Fortress. Quantrons work on ToxoViper, using variuse devices and medical scanners on him. In the background, we can see Astronema and Ecliptor observing the procedure. ToxoViper(Narrating): I was designed to be the prototype in a new wave of monsters, designed to be able to deliver maximum damage in a short time.... Setting: Dark Fortress - Hangar Deck ToxoViper(Narrating): I failed.... ToxoViper is in the hangar deck, attacking the Quantrons. He is spraying them with corrosive acid that dissovles them. He then turns and attacks Darkonda and Ecliptor, besting them without much effort. ToxoViper(Narrating): I escaped, with only the thought of revenge in mind ToxoViper climbs into a Veloci-Fighter and launches, blasting his way through the Dark Fortress and out into space. Setting: KO35 - Capitol City ToxoViper lands the stolen Veloci-Fighter and climbs out, as he does, several citizens run, screaming in terror. He looks around and tires to calm people down. ToxoViper: Please, I only want to find Icelouse..... People run from him, screaming in terror. His very presence is causing a mass panic. ToxoViper(Narrating): All I wanted was help, instead they ATTACKED ME.... Setting: KO35 Spaceport ToxoViper is fighting the Space Rangers. The Red Space Ranger jumps in the air and forward flips behind ToxoViper and turns around and thrusts a spinning kick, but ToxoViper turns around just in time to block the high kick with his left arm and then he grabs Red Space Ranger's Spiral Saber's arm by the wrist and pushes it aside and follows it by putting his leg between Red's legs and flip him backwards onto the ground. Red Space Ranger rolls out from another blast of gas from ToxoViper's tubes. Red Space Ranger: Give it up monster, you're not going not win ToxoViper: I don't want to win, I JUST WANT ICELOUSE HEAD ON A PLATTER ToxoViper grabs Red Space Ranger and throws him to the other Rangers, then sprays them with a white goo than sticks them to the ground. He is about to turn and walk away when he is his by several energy blasts that knock him to the ground. Silver Space Ranger and the Phantom Ranger walk up to ToxoViper, who is pulling himself to his feet. THey bladt him at almost point blank range, knocking him down and into unconsiousness. Silver Space Ranger Ranger: We can't destroy him, that would cause more damage Phantom Ranger: I will dispose of him.... ToxoViper(Narrating): After the incident with the Space Rangers, the Phantom Ranger took me... Setting: Phantom ranger's Ship We see ToxoViper being strapped down and loaded into a stasis pod. Setting: Unknown Planet The Phantom Ranger is stood before the panel, and as before, they are surrounded by shadows and darkness, blocking us from seeing who they really are. ToxoViper(Narrating): He took me before the almighty pannel... Phantom Ranger: We can't destroy ToxoViper, he poses a big a threat dead as he does alive Voice 1: Explain Phantom Ranger: Observe.... A holograph projects from the center of the room. It displays ToxoViper on a planet. Phantom Ranger: If you destory him on a planet, the gasses released will envelope the entire planet, killing everything on it. Voice 2: Then that is not what we will do Voice 3: We will take the next logical step Voice 4: We will not destroy him on a planet Voice 5: We will destroy him in space.... Phantom Ranger: No, you can't do that either Voice 1: Why not Phantom Ranger: Observe the holograph.... We see a chilling graphic of ToxoViper being destroyed and his gasses being released and spreading around a ship, then a whole planet. Phantom Ranger: The unique properties of ToxoViper's gasses and venoms allow them to expand almost without limits. Depending on the radiant intensity it could encompass a ship... or a planet. Voice 1: This can't be allowed Voice 2: ToxoViper must not be allowed to roam free Voice 3: Yet he can't be destroyed Voice 4: He must be contained Voice 5: For the rest of time ToxoViper(Narrating): In that one instant, with that one phrase, I was condemed to my icy confines..... Setting: Cryo-Chamber We see Phantom Ranger standing in front of a Cryo-Chamber, inside, we can see ToxoViper, frozen solid. Phantom Ranger: Rest easy ToxoViper, I assure you, you will never harm anyone again.... Setting: Outskirts Of Terra Venture ToxoViper gets off the rock and stares at the city, shimmering in the distance. He hears a familiar roar. ToxoViper: Once more unto the breach dear friends... Setting: Downtown Terra Venture Icelouse stands at one end of the high street while ToxoViper stands at the other end. A cold wind whistles through the city. Icelouse: One shall stand, ME, one shall fall, YOU ToxoViper: if i live or die does not mater, all that matters is your DESTRUCTION ToxoViper raises both of his hands and fires acid at Icelouse. The ice monster dodges the attack, ToxoViper ceases firing the acid and the two monsters charge at each other and begin to fight. Icelouse backflips away, and in mid flip, he sprouts two huge, tattered bat-like wings and flies towards ToxoViper. He grabs ToxoViper and carries the vile monster high above the city. Icelouse: Going down? He drops ToxoViper and watches as the snake monster plummets down. ToxoViper:(Unintelligible Roar) ToxoViper slams into the road, and explosions erupt all around him. Icelouse summons several massive ice-balls and throws them down to where ToxoViper fell. Icelouse: This is SO tiresome... He fires several seven more ice-balls down at where ToxoViper fell. Explosions erupt all around. Icelouse slowly sinks down and gently lands on the ground. ToxoViper jumps up out of the crater and lands a few feet away from Icelouse. ToxoViper: By what creeps, what crawls, by what does not - let all that grows recede and rot! A purple mist flows from ToxoViper and drifts towards Icelouse. He flaps his wings and hovers above the mist. He watches as it envelops a small car. The mist absorbs into the almost new car, which suddenly begins to rust. Icelouse then fires several massive ice-balls at ToxoViper, they slam into him, knocking him away and causing him great pain and damage. Icelouse flies towards ToxoViper and grabs him by the neck. He carries him onto a roof top and drops him. he lands and walks towards ToxoViper. Icelouse: You didn't stop me on Signea, and your FAMILY paid the price.... ToxoViper pulls himself to his feet. ToxoViper: This is for Manthasa and Yma.... He runs towards Icelouse and jumps on him, he wraps his arms and legs around him, squeezing him as tight as he possibly can. Thousands of tiny barbs suddenly extend out from his arms and legs and stab into Icelouse. Blue anti-freeze leeks from the wounds. Icelouse:(Unintelligible Roar) ToxoViper: This ends, NOW.... ToxoViper puls down what is blocking his lower face from view. We see that it is horrible distorted with his lower jaw completly missing. ToxoViper spits an orange liquid onto Icelouse. ToxoViper: For my family.... He spits a white liquid onto Icelouse, and as soon as it touches the orange liquid, both monsters are engulfed in a tremendous explosion that destroys them, and the building they are on. Setting: Downtown Terra Venture - 1 Hour Later RaptorCon walks through the debris with a squad of Venture Troopers. Jasper: I've found him.... RaptorCon runs to Jasper and sees the barely-alive remains of ToxoViper. ToxoViper(Barley alive): Did... I.... finish...him.... RaptorCon: Yes old friend, you did..... ToxoViper(Barley Alive): Then I.... did.... my.... job.... Setting: Unknown - Medical Quarters - 1 hours later FireStorm watches as the last of the ice metls away from the Lion Force Rangers. When the ice has completly melted, the Rangers's automatically de-morph. Leo: What happened? Maya: Last thin I remember was getting frozen by Icelouse..... FireStorm: We had help... from an old friend..... FireStorm leads the Rangers to a medical bed where ToxoViper is standing next to him. The medical monitors all indicate the same thing, ToxoViper is dying. Maya: My god.... what happened? RaptorCon: He took down Icelouse at the cost of his own life..... RaptorCon pulls a tattered photo from inside his robes. He looks at it and a tear trickles from his eye. His wife and child smile up at him through creased and burnt picture. Maya: You svaed the colony..... ToxoViper(Barley Alive): I did it for my.... wife and child..... not you..... He coughs up purple goo, then hands Leo the picture. Leo: Your wife and child? ToxoViper nods weakly. He coughs up more purple goo and takes the picture back and looks at it. ToxoViper(Barley Alive): Your deaths.... have been..... avenged..... At the moment of death, the instant the light fade from his eyes and he is gone. ToxoViper's POV: He sees only the picture. The sounds from outside are fading, slowly being replaced by thunder. The thunder grows louder And lounder with each second. And then, it begins to recede. The thunder rolls away, dying into a wind which is like the last winds of a great storm, ebbing into a smooth breeze as the iron clouds swirl away, giving way to an image of gauzy light. As if behind a soft veil we see.... Yma, running toward ToxoViper, laughing, in slow motion. Manthasa is behind her, smiling. They are in bright sunlight, an image of motion and life, a slice of memory so vivid and precious a man needs only this to face eternity. We see their hair blown by the wind. The Rangers watch ToxoViper as he reaches the moment of death His face is almost blank, his gaze fixed, seeing what we cannot see, seeing a future which has changed... there is the faintest hint of a smile, the instant the light fades from his eyes and he is gone.
