Power Rangers: Lion Force Episode 11 "Troubled Waters" By DinoBot Setting: Terra Venture - Maya's Quarters Maya is laid in her hammock. Rays of sunlight filtered in through the windows while scented Mirinoite candles fill the room with sweet smells and drifting smoke. RaptorCon: May I come in?..... Maya sits up suddenly and looks around. She watches as RaptorCon warps in and walks up to her hammock. RaptorCon: This stuff REALLY stinks, what is it? Maya: Mirinoite meditation candles, they help me relax.... RaptorCon sneezes, blowing out several of the candle, Maya smiles slightly, then returns to her far away stare. RaptorCon: It's been a week since Drax was..... lost at the waterfall. You need to leave your quarters and stop snorting this candle..... RaptorCon sneezed again, blowing out the last few of Maya's meditation candles. RaptorCon: I'm not leaving until you do, and the longer I stay, the more I sneeze. And the more I sneeze, the more of your stuff gets blown out or gets snot on it. So what's it to be? Maya sighs. Since the incident at the waterfall, she has not left her quarters as she is moarning the los of a loved one in the traditional Miranite way. She sighs again and climbs out of her hammock. Maya: So, what did you have in mind to do today? RaptorCon(Smiling): Lets go get some lunch Setting: Outskirts of Terra Venture A monster is making its way through the Industrial Center. The monster is a tall, slender creature who has gas leaking from various slits on his body. It finds a creek with clear water running through it. Gaster: This creek should lead to the city's water supply. Gaster walks over to the creek and steps into it. The water is crystal clear. But once he gets in, flakes of his skin wash off into the water as the water begins to glow in a murky green colour. Then the water turns clear again. Gaster: Soon, the entire city will be poisoned by my toxic chemicals. These humans will not know what to do. Suddenly, another voice cuts through the air like a knife through butter. The voice is raspy and metallic. Dameacon: Let us hope you are right Gaster, but to be certain that this plan is fool-proof, make your way down this creek and make sure it goes directly to the main water supply. Gaster: Yes, my lord. The voice fades away, Gaster hisses softly as he makes his way down the side of the creek. Setting: Further down the creek Kai and Mike are studying the water supply. Mike: Does this creek run straight down from the mountains? Kai: Yeah, so it's nice and cold. And it's clean, too. Kai takes a sample of the water and runs it through the scanner, then he crouches down by the side of the creek and cups some water in his hands, and begin to drink from it. Kai: Mmmm, this is good. Fresh water. Mike, you've gotta try this. Mike: Nah, not right now. But I will take some in a canteen for later. Mike walks over and fills up his canteen. Gaster sees Mike and Kai. He hides in the bushes so they don't notice him. Gaster: An unexpected surprise. It's only fair that I give them a warm welcome. Gaster sprays an orange mist towards them. It drifts out of the bushes and explodes all around Kai and Mike. Mike: What the... Gaster comes out from his hiding place and stands in front of Mike and Kai. Gaster: Well, well, well. If it isn't two weary travellers. Looks like you've taken a wrong path. Kai: I don't think we noticed you anywhere on the map. Gaster: Consider yourself unlucky. You've come across a new discovery, but you won't live long enough to tell anyone else. Gaster comes in for the attack. He first attacks Mike, who only manages to get a few punches and kicks in. Kai is then grabbed and thrown into the air. He falls to the ground and Mike helps him up. Gaster: Ha, ha, ha! C'mon, you can do better than that! Kai: You asked for it! Lion Ranger... ARRRGHHH! Kai hunches over and grabs his stomach. Mike looks at them to see what's wrong. Mike: Are you alright? Gaster: Looks like your friend has come down with something. Gaster melts into a fine mist disappear. Mike: Just hold tight Kai. Mike grabs Kai's wrist and talks into his morpher. Mike: Guys, I need help, Kai has been poisoned. Scene 3: Terra Venture Hospital The hospital is full of people suffering from poisoning. Gaster's effect on the water has effected the citizens of Terra Venture. Setting: Terra Venture Hospital - Private Room 3 Kai is laid in a hospital bed as Dr. Lucas runs tests to find a diagnosis on his condition. Kai tossing and turning in bed as beads of sweat fall from his forehead. The other Rangers and RaptorCon stand close by. Leo: So what's wrong with them? Dr. Lucas: He is running a very high fever, his blood pressure is high, and his condition is unstable. While running blood tests I found very high levels of toxic chemicals. And I have not been successful in finding anything in my medical texts about them. They are completely foreign. Kendrix: What could have done this?. If it was airborne, more people would have been infected. Mike: What about the water from the creek? That's where he drank from. Damon: But that water should be clean. Kai: Yeah, but that's also where they bumped into Gaster. Maybe this new monster has something to do with it. Dr Luac: You may be right. But I will need a sample of that water to run more tests and see if I can have my computers find some sort of vaccine. Leo: Then I'll go get it. Mike: Wait, I've got some in my canteen. I was gonna save it for later. He gives it to Dr. Lucas. Dr. Lucas: I'll run every test I can think of, if the answer is there, then I'll find it RaptorCon walks up to Dr. Lucas and places a clawed hand on his shouder. RaptorCon: You will heal him doc, I know you will. And if you don't, I'll eat you... With that, RaptorCon teleports out. Leo: He doesn't meant that Dr Lucas. Setting: Downtown Terra Venture As the Rangers walk through the city, they see other people infected by the water falling to their knees and writhing in pain on the ground. Leo: The entire city's water supply is already polluted by Gaster. A scanner device beeps and RaptorCon takes it out and checks the display. RaptorCon: He's appeared near the Mirinoite village. The rest of you stay here, I'll handle this on my own. Before anyone can object, RaptorCon teleports away. Setting: Mirinoite Village. Gaster walks towards the village. The natives run away terrified from the monster. One young Mirinoite man, Doran, stands up to him. Doran: Halt, you will go no further, monster. Gaster: Go away. Gaster blasts Doran with a jet of gas. the young Mirinoite man chokes then passes out. Gaster: That was so easy... He is cut off when several fireballs slam into him, but they do little damage to him as he absorbs them. RaptorCon jumps down from the trees and lands in front of Gaster. RaptorCon: I don't suppose you're going to surrender, are you? Gaster: Of course not. Gaster throws a blast from his mouth and sends Pisces through the air. It strikes RaptorCon, knocking him back. Gaster: Ha, ha, ha! Now it's time for you to suffer the same fate as your friends. Your skin may protect you from my toxins, but you won't have a choice after I drown you. Gaster grabs RaptorCon and tries to throw him into the water and drown him. He struggles and manages to get away. He kicks at him, scratching him with his claws. It has little effect on Gaster, but it gives RaptorCon a chance to get away. RaptorCon: You won't get away with this... Gaster: Why do hero types say that? I AM getting away with it. In fact, I think I'll INCREASE my chances of winning... Purple gas leaks from the slits covering his body, Gaster begins to shudder as he starts growing to giant sized. And in a few moments, he towers above the forest. Gaster: Time for destruction. FireStorm: Wanna bet? In front of him, the air began to twist and warp, energy crackling around the warp hole. FireStorm steps out. FireStorm: I'm afraid your poisonous rampage is over, and I've brought some friends with me to help. The warp hole grew larger, five more monsters stepped out. The first monster is called Altor and he is equal in height to FireStorm. He was covered in a fine white fur from head to toe. His fingers were tipped with six inch, retractable claws. His eyes were blue, like a human's eyes. His feet also were tipped with six inch, nasty looking claws. Strapped to his back in a double sheath, were two samurai swords. The second monster's name is Blades. Blades is a mean looking creature. He is covered with a fine, grey fur, that almost looks metallic in the afternoon sun. Sticking out of his elbows are 3 foot long, razor sharp, retractable blades. He also has retractable, 3 foot blades sticking out of his wrists. Around the edges of his boots, there is a razor sharp blade. The third monster is called Inferno. He is a lizard creature, who is covered with fire coloured scales. Around the edge of his arms, fire burns fiercely, and his hands are engulfed in a fierce ball of fire. His tail trails behind him, also burning intensely. At the end burns a bright ball of plasma. The fourth monster is called Icelous. He is a slim, slender monster. His skin is coloured blue and white. He has jagged chunks of ice sticking out of his body. Icelous' hands are shrouded in mist that slowly wafts away in the cool breeze. He is also bouncing a large chunk of ice between his hands. The fifth monster is called Electrica and she is the only female monster in the group. Of all the monsters in the group, she is the most human looking, with human-like skin. Electrica has beautiful green eyes that sparkle in the sun. She has shoulder-length black hair, which is tied back in a pony tail. She is wearing white, knee high boots with a lightning bolt symbol painted on the outside, plus a pair of tight white denim shorts. She is wearing a white, lycra crop-top with two lightning bolts painted on, and are crossed in the middle just above her left breast, forming an X. There is a flat triangle-shaped hole is cut in the dress to show off some of her cleavage. FireStorm: Ok monsters, let's give our friend a hand. The monsters run to attack Gaster. Gaster: You will FAIL! He spits a glob of purple slime at the ground. He steps back and watches as it sinks into the ground. Suddenly, the ground rips open and shoots out a fireball at the monsters, the explosion sending them flying through the air. They all land on their hands and knees back to the ground. They struggle to get back up. A double of Gaster suddenly climbs out of the crack, which seals after him. Gaster 2 (Laughing): Ha, ha, ha. Blades slices away at the original Gaster, while FireStorm and Altor attack the double. Electrica brushes some dirt off her shorts. Electrica: I've just got these things clean. There has to be at least half an inch of mud and dirt on.... She's cut off as Gaster 2 shoots an energy bolt at her. Electrica: That does it! I'll put up with dirty shorts and helping the Power Rangers. But being shot at, that's where I draw the line... She raises her hands and they glow brightly. She fires pure electricity at the Gaster double. Gaster 2: AAAGHHH... The evil clone screams in rage as the electricity courses through his entire body, paralysing him. FireStorm: You hold him Electrica my dear, I'll finish him off... FireStorm summons a massive fireball and aims it at the evil monster twin, and, as he is about to fire. Gaster 2 takes off and dives out of the way. Blades charges at it and leapt onto Gaster 2's back. He begins to slash and stab at the creature. Blades: SOME HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED... FireStorm and Altor attack Gaster 2 while Inferno, Icelous and Electrica attack the original Gaster. Gaster 2 stumbles backward, and is severely beaten. Icelous: Chill out... Icelous fires an ice beam at the double. The beam connects with the monster, destroying him instantly. Gaster stumbles around, severely weakened now that the clone has been destroyed. Altor: So, I take it you won't surrender, will you? Gaster growls and fires one last fireball at the monsters. Altor: I thought you'd say that... (To the other monsters) Let's combine our power to finish this fool off! FireStorm summons a massive fireball and aims it at Gaster. Electrica stands behind him, putting her hands on FireStorm's shoulders and sending a surge of electricity through his body and into the fireball. Icelous stands to FireStorm's right, griping FireStorm's arm and sends a wave of ice to the fireball, which is now a maelstrom of energy. Blades knelt in front and extended his wrist blades out fully, crossing them in front of FireStorm's energy ball. FireStorm: FIRE! The combined energy shot from FireStorm's hands, along with Blades' wrist blades. The energy crackled along them then shot out and hit Gaster, destroying the monster instantly in a massive explosion. RaptorCon: That was SO cool! The monsters power down and return to their normal sizes. RaptorCon greets his friends. RaptorCon: FireStorm, I see you brought help. Blades: We heard about Drax and came as fast as we could Altor: Did he die in combat? RaptorCon: Yes, he did.... Altor: Then he dies with honor FireStorm: Looks like we pulled your butt out of the fire just in time RaptorCon. Again. RaptorCon: You're never going to let me forget that, are you? FireStorm (smiling): No, I'm gonna milk it as long as I can. RaptorCon pats FireStorm on the back as the monsters walk down the street. THE END
