With VR Troopers being from Saban Entertainment and basically marketed as a spinoff of Power Rangers... You have to wonder if VR Troopers is in the PRU.

There is no real evidence to indicate this. Besides the similarity in the show's premise and its creators. The VR Trooper powers work differently then the Power Rangers powers. They don't seem to work off the Morphing Grid. We never saw any instance of the Rangers or Troopers knowing of each other in either show. Of course the Space Rangers and Ninja Turtles didn't know about each other before "Shell-Shocked". But hiding in the sewers is a little bit different than saving the world. It is pretty wierd how the general public knows about the VR Troopers. Since they mainly fought in virtual reality. Yet the show makes it clear that the public is aware of them.

One can point to the orginal plans for the Gold Ranger. With Ryan Steele orginally being planned as the Gold Ranger. And Brad Hawkins actually doing the ADR work for Trey. But the storyline with Ryan was dropped and never happened. So that can't be used as evidence.

While you could probably find a way to retcon VR Troopers into the PRU.... I don't think you could say that they are the same universe at this point. There just isn't enough evidence to do so. But at the same time its never been definitively shown to be different. So the option is always there for that retcon.

It depends there's things I think one could read into in both shows like the Troopers looking like Power Rangers when they're in battle grid mode, Haley from Dino Thunder having Ziktor as her last name, Thrax looking like Grimlord.

Nothing concrete I'll admit in fact you'd have to ask the people in charge of the show.

But if this is just personal opinion then yeah I like to think all the various Saban superheroes live in the same universe.

To me, PR and VRT are as much in separate universes any two random shows are. As you said, there's absolutely nothing to indicate that they co-exist. Plus, it just makes more sense the way it is.

I did hear there was aborted plans for a PR/VRT team-up.

Brad told that in an interview. It would be the final battle of VR Troopers. It sucks we didn't get a proper end with that

VR Trooper doesn't take place in the same universe as Power Rangers. They are 2 different universes. :p

Well nothing contradicts, so I guess we'll never know either way. After 15 years, they're not going to revive VRT now (can't anyway, no Metal Heroes footage to use).

Personally I don't believe VR Troopers is in the universe. I mean look at what they did with Masked Rider. They created the Masked Rider as being in the same universe but in regards to the actual show, it's not in the same universe. Granted that's Masked Rider and all but I do believe it shows that it's likely that they're not in the same universe. However on the other hand it is possible they could be since you do see Beetleborgs comics during Turbo but again there is really nothing to support the Troopers being in the same universe so I'm going with that.

Well there is an upcoming Gokaiger vs Uchuu Keiji Gavan movie that some folks say will also have other Metal Heroes in.

Maybe if it does good they'll make episodes of Gokaiger with the metal heroes in them, and they could adapt the ones with Shaider, Spielban, and Metalder.
