While Ryotaro sleeps, Deneb chases a small dinosaur around his room, until Yuto arrives through the window to tell Deneb to take Ryotaro onto the ZeroLiner. Ryotaro then walks sleepily, until he sees a Pteranodon fly over his head and sees several Brachiosaurus before him. Later, it is day time, and Ryotaro just thinks he had a very strange dream. Unbeknownst to him, dinosaur tracks are on his wall. He calls Hana to tell her about the dream, but she is unable to get anything out of Urataros who was in it. Ryotaro helps Airi mind and decorate the Milk Dipper, serving Yuto and asking him about his dream, but Yuto claims he knows nothing. When Miura arrives, claiming he hurt his back by tripping on a bottle outside, Ryotaro is left with Yuto, who Deneb has taken over to try and make them friends, and diverts Ozaki from the shop. After some time, Deneb is forced out and Yuto decorates the Milk Dipper with star-shaped balloons, and Ryotaro recognizes it as various constellations, asking Yuto if he likes stars. Deneb stands outside, while a second Deneb chases ninjas that throw shuriken into the Milk Dipper's door that the first Deneb finds. When a customer arrives, both Yuto and Ryotaro notice that the man is trailing sand and must have made a contract with an Imagin. They follow him to a local hospice while Hana and Naomi take over at the Milk Dipper. While in the hospice, they try to follow the man, but Ryotaro is abducted by Deneb into the time stream. When the Spider Imagin attacks, Yuto is left on his own, but Deneb takes the Spider Imagin away from the contract holder and his sister who wished to see a starry sky. Zeronos is able to defeat the Spider Imagin, but he is still not sure where Ryotaro had gone. Ryotaro is on the ZeroLiner, and with a different Yuto, who has taken him to see the "Climax Scene" as they travel through various time periods and witness a battle between Zeronos and Kamen Rider Gaoh as well as the Tarōs fighting several ninjas.
Even the full description of this makes no sense... But, there's ninjas! Win!

Is it possible they're trying to make the movie and series connect?

Feels more like they're trying to pitch the movie in-show. I somehow don't see them recognizing Sieg in the movie, or Ga-O for that matter.

It's more like if you don't see the movie in theaters, you'll have something to hold you over until the DVD release.

From what I read in wikipedia Sieg returns from 1997 to help Ryotaro in the Taros's absence or something like that... :D
